Vette Powered
Can someone tell me were the reverse light wiring is on the T56 and how important the lock out is for reverse. I keep grinding a little trying to find 5th gear. Is there a cheaper part out there? Chevy wants a sh*t load for it!

janaka
Just go to the gym 3 times a week and the lockout is a breeze. Ours isn't wired up properly and my wife even has a system for shifting into reverse. Wire it up for ease of use though, for me its a theft deterant

I don't want to grind reverse everytime I'm looking for 5th. I guess with practice I'll get better st finding 5th.
lgoodson@pacbell.net
Wire it to your brake switch. It works fine but sometimes you don't feel like you need your foot on the brake to shift into reverse so it can be a pain but you wont hit reverse by mistake. The computer does the job just fine if you have one except mine doesn't seem to want to work so I use the brake.
