stravi757
So ive been around to some pick n pull's and i dont really like them or their prices excluding Hayward. Ive been to some other junk yards but they weren't very big which means they never really had any Nissan's. What are some junk yards you guys would recommend that are fairly close to the bay area, no more than an hour away that have good prices? auxilary
for the last 3-4 years, junkyards around the area have been very dry of Z cars. I can't even remember the last time I saw a 240 or 260 in a yard. used to be littered with 280zx cars, but even those are hard to find now
stravi757
hmmm, well i have actually only seen one 240z at a junk yard. it had some sweet bumpers on it. But last year i was finding them(280z's) all over, lately i haven't seen any s30's anywhere. I do see at least one 280zx every time i go to the Hayward pick n pull though. Other than im not finding anything either.
PhilbertZ
I saw a 1980 ZX (same color as mine!) in a SJ yard last year - but that's it....slim pickins here
eec564
Take a look at E&J Auto Wreckers on West Winton Ave, off of 880, one exit north of 92. There's a pick'n pull down there too, go past them. http://www.eandjautowreckers.com/ -Eric
Iceman
I know the pick-n-pull in Rancho Cordova normally has a good handful of Zs. That's probably well over an hour away, but might be worth the drive. I'm probably heading over there soon for some from front springs. I can check for (and maybe pull) some stuff for you and bring it home. I live in Vacaville, so I might be within your range.

I prefer going myself and picking the part though. I like going and inspecting the parts first, but thank you. let me know if anything turns up.
