fhptom
Tore my old disc brake setup off and am waiting for my new Wilwood kit to get to me. What is the correct way to re-install stub axles. Leave bearings in place and hammer axles back in or remove bearings and press them on axles and then re-insert axles. I cannot remember how I did it last time and I need to get this done quickly and correctly to make Sebring event on Saturday. Tom
johnc
Now's the time to replace the bearings if they are original. I would press the outer bearing on the axle first and then install it in the hub.
heavy85
I've hammered them out then back in several times trying to find the right spacer when I replaced the bearings. Just put them back in, torque, check preload and you should be good. Cameron
