fhptom
Well there will be no reason for me not to late brake into the corners anymore. Just fitted Daves AZC front kit to go along with the rear Wilwoods. Now I just need the balls to go late... Tom
heavy85
What pads are you using? After upgrading to similar brakes (Outlaw vs Wilwood) I still faded pads but after about three laps instead of one with stock brakes. Balls were there but the pads weren't and I didn't expect that. These were with Hawk HP+ pads so if you dont have a true track pad and are running on a full road course then I would put real track pads on there. fhptom
I have the Wilwood equivalent to Hawk Blues which I used in the Toyo calipers. friend uses this same setup with his HSR racecar with no issues so I am sure my slow pace will not over work them. signal34
I'm considering this setup for my 77 and I'm curious as to how difficult the installation process was.
fhptom
Signal34, the install is straight forward. Dave @ AZC sends a complete kit to do the entire job. Choosing pad compound to suit your driving needs is most important. Tom
signal34
Thanks for the info. I doubt that I will ever track the car, I'm just looking for something to let me push it a little harder in the twisties.
RS Speed
I hope my axxis ultras hold up on the next track event. My friend had good results on his s14 and im hoping the 4x4 calipers and ultras cut it... if not im going the wilwood route
