hoov100
Short answer: No, long answer is you need to try and find the answer to your question, before you ask. (cudo's for getting it in the correct forum though)
afbrian13
that was chevy saying "lets take a really good gas motor, make an unreliable POS out of it, and ruin the diesel car market in the US for a good 20+ years" - stay clear of them

Hey how about a 5.9 Cumins?, I know a guy who want to shoe horn one of these monster diesel Powerplant into a 1977 toyota Celica hatchback, he says he will have tons of low end Grunt..... Jdown inGA
Yea the olds 350 is not a very good choice for a diesel swap at all imo. However I have read that the block had some success in drag racing being converted to run on gas. Seems for gasoline or alcohol use the block was very strong and accepted small and big block olds heads. But I would suggest you do more reasearch and consider other options before the 350 olds diesel.
MAG58
Is a thread dead after six months? Both of these motors are entirely too heavy to be productive in a solid Z, IMO. The cummins is just silly. Edited August 3, 2010 by MAG58
