garyneedsz
I had my car jacked up in the rear the other day and i wanted to start it because its been a while. it started up just fine except for one thing. my rear wheels were spinning. is this normal? or is my clutch still engaged. and if it is engaged, how would i go about adjusting it. i started to fiddle with it by loosening the 12mm and twisting the rod in and out. but which ever way, the tires still spin. the car is a fairly stock 77 280. and one last thing, when i step on the clutch fully, the tires stop. any input will help. thanks
Sketch_hs
It's normal for there to still be some transmission of engine torque (very minor) You should be able to easily stop it just with your hands, if it's any more you might have a problem. Even new cars do this.
