MazterDizazter Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 Hey all, In the quest for heat I took the dash and heater core out of the car. Found that mice and squirrels had made a nice little nest for me inside the core and blower motor. Took everything apart, cleaned everything, got it all working again, minus the fact that the brittle ducts from the blower to the core and the blower to the dash vents all broke and are completely useless. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I looked through Black Dragon's catalog and didn't see anything. Oddmanout84 Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 Go to NAPA and ask them about heater ducting. I got two boxes of heater duct for pretty cheap, and it seems like better quality than the original. Have had no problems so far, and its been several months worth of use. Just bring a fitting or measure the inner diameter of the stock ducting so you can give them the proper size you need. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The biggest problems will be the center duct and the blower/heater core pieces. They are oddball shaped requiring a little finesse to work around. That said, I might have much of what you need or you could give Todd Wagner a call at Tidewater Z Auto Service in Poquoson, Virgina at 1-757-868-6753. MazterDizazter Posted November 20, 2009 Author Share Posted November 20, 2009 The vents to the windshield are fine; I need the ducts that go to the center and side vents of the dash, the duct from the core box to the blower motor box, and if there are any that go from the lower vents to the floor, those too.
