Tim240z
Found this article and looks very interesting for a home made air/fuel ratio meter. DIY WB Tim

There's also the Australian version: http://www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/default.htm BTW, the sensor is made by Bosch, and is on back order until March 03!!!!! Tim240z
BTW, the sensor is made by Bosch, and is on back order until March 03!!!!! According to their website, the partsbin has them in stock.Tim
pparaska
I contacted the Parts Bin, Napa Online. Both sell the unit as a NAPA part, but they are all really Bosch units (NTK, L1H1 marking). I inquired with both to see about doing a group buy. Parts Bin said March 2003 backorder, Napaonline said they didn't know when.

pparaska
''ssssawwright. Tim, anybody, if you know where I can get one of these sensors, other than a Honda dealer (They want $300+) let me know. Pete
pparaska
Yes, it's a very specific sensor, and is marked L1H1. I'll check the NOPI one, thanks, Mike.
BLKMGK
www.fjoinc.com - tell them you need a replacement sensor The guys I know buying the FJO setup are having no problems sourcing the sensor from FJO so far as I know. I actually need a couple of these sensors too actually
pparaska
I'm wondering if they'd sell one, the price sheet says "when buying CX0000...(their WB box)". I've read recently that you may be able to shop some parts places and have them search the warehouses.
speeder
Hey guys, Here's the staight scoop. I bought a '95 Honda Civic VX (1.5l 3-door) sensor fom the Parts Bin (part no. C5010-75044) for 125.00 and used it on my FJO WBO2 - same part as what FJO supplied -NTK L1H1- works fine. Also, NAPA part no. ECH0S791 is the crrect NTK sensor. I was wondering if there would be a big rush to buy these sensors once the average goober caught on to it, and bought a spare.
Mike kZ
According to techedge.com.au the o2 sensor comes from a 95 Civic with a 1.5L engine. I went to http://www.nopionline.com/ and they sell a NTK sensor for that car for $91.48. I wonder if it's the same one?
Tim240z
Mike, I believe that they specifically call out that the correct sensor is from a VTEC Honda. I reckon it must be different from the normal 1.5 Honda since they make a point of mentioning it? Tim
Mike kZ
NOPI also shows a sensor for a 1.6L Civic for $122.10 , and one for a Vtec/B16A for $64.33. Maybe you should call them to see if it's a 5 wire?
pparaska
Me = regular goober I just ordered one through my local parts store. We'll see what happens.
Guest De Schmaydee
.....does it work?.....i wrote them 3-4 times trying to buy the kit and never could get them to actually sell it......s
speeder
I include myself in the "Goober" category, too - don't know why that term popped into my head ... I just looked on the box that my WBO2 sensor came in- It's Bosch P/N 13246. The sensor itself did have the correct NTK part no., however. Sam280Z
I built one of these recently. Couldn't find the sensor anywhere online. None of the regular parts stores could get it. Eventually I found one at a local NAPA. They had five in stock. ~$150.00... Sam OBTW, the WB O2 rules...
RB26powered74zcar
This may be a silly request, but would it be way out there to ask if someone would have a W/B set up that could be loaned/rented out. If I had access to one to make a few wot runs to fine tune my Tec2 with confidence, thats all I think I'd need one for. I'd be willing to leave a fair deposit plus a users fee... RB26powered74zcar
??? Can anyone answer. Is this even possible, as I know very little about the W/B's mobility. I realize the sensor bung issue, but any other reason why this would'nt be possible? Thank You for the input.... joel
BLKMGK
Yes, this is possible to do. However folks such as myself often hardwire the sensor into the car so it's not exactly portable. You're also talking about over $600 worth of equipment (in my case) so lending it out can be a little scary...
