big-phil
After spending $100 on a new clutch master, slave, hose, and it still didn't work I find this. I had a spare, but putting it in was not easy. I had to make the hole in the trans a bit bigger. Then clipping it in the throw out bearing and such through the little hole is not fun. Its all back together now. I was driving home and noticed little by little I had no clutch.
AkumaNoZeta
That's epic, I've never seen a clutch fork fail like that.
cygnusx1
That's the second one I have seen. FYI, Z32 Clutch forks fit our S30's and they are a bit beefier. I can't believe you did it without pulling the trans out! Nice. LOL.
MAG58
I'd put that on the wall.
big-phil
I can't remember, but I'm sure that must be the z31 fork I used after the tranny swap? I just kept praying it wasn't my ACT clutch and I'd have to pull the tranny again!! At least I now have clean clutch fluid:rolleyesg
big-phil
I can't believe you did it without pulling the trans out! Nice. LOL. I drilled 2 small holes next to each other on one end of the opening where the fork sticks out. Then filed until it would come out. Oh the look on my face when the broke one wouldn't come out. I Thought I was going to have to pull the trans just for that:fmad:
Raami
I broke that thing too last summer. I did pull the tranny out for that.
