MONGO510
Here are some pics of the suspension I am building. Feedback would be welcome as I intend to drive this thing pretty fast and I don't want it to fall out at speed. Pics are at reply # 10 Mongo http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=1118178#post1118178
Slopoke
Seems pretty sweet. I'd love to see more pics of how you're going to set it up under the car. Call me dumb, but I cant figure out exactly how you're going to do it by the pics. The one has writing on it, but it's too small for me to read. MONGO510
The lower suspension uses a stock lower suspension with a gutted and shortened strut. What you see in the pics mounts on the floor in the hatch area. Mongo

MAG58
mas⋅och⋅ism /ˈmæsəˌkɪzəm, ˈmæz-/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [mas-uh-kiz-uhm, maz-] –noun 1. Psychiatry. the condition in which sexual gratification depends on suffering, physical pain, and humiliation. 2. gratification gained from pain, deprivation, degradation, etc., inflicted or imposed on oneself, either as a result of one's own actions or the actions of others, esp. the tendency to seek this form of gratification. 3. the act of turning one's destructive tendencies inward or upon oneself. 4. the tendency to find pleasure in self-denial, submissiveness, etc. 5. MONGO510 What would be the advantage to this over say, a multi-link that doesn't have to run a gutted strut and wouldn't have awkward camber curves? MONGO510
I can't say that there is an advantage. It's just something I wanted to try. The camber curves are pretty much fully adjustable, so I don't think it will be a total waste of time. The change is also completely reversable. I dance to the beat of a different Drummer! MAG58
I'm not bashing it, by all means go for it! But now that you have my attention, how do you adjust the camber curves?
MONGO510
The Camber curve is adjustable by the length of the a-arm, and the height of the inner pivot point. Using these adjustments should allow me to keep the camber at any point I like, in relation to body roll. Mongo

dj paul
240sx IRS Photobucket This should help anyone wanting to do the 240SX IRS swap. I have lost the measurements. I believe Maichor (spelling?) was the one who inspired me to do this. He did a vella rossa spider replica. If i see a big response, ill remeasure everything and post.
