ArnZ
I was on the set today for the new Owen Wilson movie "Hall Pass" when this rough 240 was delivered. No other details other than in it will be in the movie. There also was very clean BMW 2002 that came in with it. They were shooting in Marietta, GA. by the Chattahoochee river. ModernS30
just make sure they don't crash that 240z. BMW is hot, reminds me of the one I used to DD, it was white, then some stupid 15y/o rear ended it. =(
280zx 2by2
You call that rough? haha I call that mint besides the rust on the rear bumper.
Rolling Parts
As long as they don't pull a "Bruce Almighty" and trash it then it should be an interesting movie. I guess if it was delivered like that then it will be in the movie without repair?
ModernS30
Did I miss something in that movie? Was there a Z smashed or something? I am a youngin and saw that movie before my love for z's.

He originally drove a CLEAN 2+2 Auto. The proceeded to run it into poles, break windows, and other sundry horrors to defile the poor thing. I'd hate to have a trend in movies where Z's are portrayed merely as cars that it's OK to be keyed or to use as targets to take your anger out on. I hope that they have a more "valued" portrayal in store for this Z car.
ArnZ
The "rough" comment was "it ain"t as pretty as the Bimmer". I did not want to really "inspect" the car. It looks like ass and has some indications it could be a rust bucket, but sounded good and started right up and idled for 20 minutes. The car is a local rental, so no paint job or demolition to the car. I actually plan on seeing the actual condition of the car in a few days. Hence the blackout of temp local dealer tags. As long as Owen does not drive it, it could be cheap? Here is a shot of the set where I assume the car will appear.
