SuperSamuri Posted June 24 Share Posted June 24 Yes old-post but for those searching the forums, similar issues with series 1 RB 25 DET with stock intake and stock ECU in a 73 Datsun 240z. my solution Air regulator power does not come from ECU , raises idle when cold , not ECU controlled . Chris's guide does cover it . Air regulator valve needs 12v , connects to 6 pin grey connector next to water temp sensor , wire color light blue the aqua wires are for knock sensor's my wire in was found under intake close to wire for knock sensor .
