1983 280zx turbo

i have been reading on a lot of websites and some of them tell me that the 83 280zx turbos all came with R200s but then other websites tell me that only the manual trans came with them and the car i pulled it from is an automatic trans... i am not a z guru yet (haha) but i have pulled it out and can not tell if it is what i want it to be... an R200.... so what is this..

 

ok... well i can not figure out how to put the picture in... lol.. need help there also!!!

Yes, it is a R200, just not 100% sure on the gear ratio.

 

As far as pictures go, you need something like photo bucket to upload them to, then get the direct link for the pic and paste it in the "insert image" tool.

thanks guys... i will post what i have hopefully tonight or tomorrow... i pulled the rear end out of the 280zxt 3 days ago (about to upgrade it a bit) and just pulled the trans out of my 240z (5sp out of a 280zx N/A)... 5th gear not engaging at all like its in neutral... oh the fun!
