Calico
Has anyone ever swapped the single turbo vg30et into the z32 chassis? do you know if the vg30et would bolt in a z32 300zx?
sweetride2go
I haven't seen it, but that doesn't mean no one has done the swap. I would think it would swap easily, since the single cam VG is a lot smaller on the top end. The only consideration I would have is the crossover pipe for the exhaust. And maybe the oil pan, but I've worked with both, and I don't foresee that as a problem... Ryan~
B00STDZ
Why would you want to do that? If you want a single turbo setup I would get a VG30DETT and make a single turbo exhaust manifold and convert to single...
Calico
cause u can get a new 3.3 (Vg33e/r) block from a pathfinder/villager ect for peanuts, make good power & then bolt on the turbo vg30et parts.
Pdfflyer
The Z31 VG30ET engine required a specific crossmember as compared to the Z31 NA crossmember. I'm sure you could fabricate the changes into the crossmember for the Z32 car body. PDF
