skirkland1980
I made this handy tool for holding the chain and tensioner on an L6. Not only does it keep the tensioner from falling out but will keep the chain on the crank sprocket and it works great. Feel free to copy it for yourself. It's just made of some nuts, bolts, and threaded rod. Tools I used; just a mig and bench grinder. rossman
That's a neat little gizmo. I've always just used the handle of a large Craftsman screwdriver.
jeffer949
A block of wood that is 1 inch on bottom and 2 inches on top and i think 1 inch thick works just the same you just hammer it into place before you take the cam sprocket off. There is specs for it in the service manual to make one.
