  1. Ever try one of those Jolokia (or something like that) peppers? They're supposedly the hottest in the world. My brother had some and gave one to a guy he works with. The guy ate about half of it and fell to the ground shaking. Some of those peppers are dangerous.
  2. Those prices are rediculous! I could see prices close to that for NOS, but not for used stuff. I'd like to buy radio parts because it seems that those are the first things people throw out when they buy a Z. When people want to do a restoration, they're going to need a radio.
  3. The mustang lights are an interesting idea, but the bottoms of the lights doesn't fit the body line and it kind of throws off the look, in my opinion.
  4. I think alot of the z sellers are on crack. I saw one on ebay a couple of weeks ago for $27,000 with a hideous "$20,000" paint job and I about died laughing. Quick story; I saw a Z at a small hole-in-the-wall dealership for sale. So, I stopped in to look at it. The paint was peeling and 1/4" thick pieces of body filler were falling off from the poor bodywork, the bumpers were dented and sagging, the floor looked like swiss-cheese, the tires were balled, it had three different wheels on it, the interior looked like a grizzly bear and a puma were mating in it, the dash was torn to shreds, the car sat lopsided, and it didn't have the original engine or transmission. I went inside to ask how much it was. I was expecting somewhere around $800-$1000. The guy told me $3900! I looked at him and said, "Would you take $600?" The guy got red in the face and said, "Get out of here you idiot." I responded, "There certainly is an idiot here, but it sure as hell isn't me." A few weeks go by when I'm at a restaurant and what should pull up? Sure enough, someone bought the car. I saw the guy and said, "So you bought that car, huh?" I asked the guy how much he paid for it, and he told me he got a deal on it for $3700! I started to grin, and explained to the guy about the value of Z's and what not, and the guy got pissed and started yelling about how he was going to sue the dealership. Of course we all know, the guy was SOL. Anywho, that's my story of how stupid unknowledgeable sellers can be.
  5. I say go for it! Not for the fuel economy (although that's a nice benefit), but just because I'm a diesel junkie. I can't wait to start making some money so as that I can buy myself a couple of diesels. The smell of diesel fuel, low-end torque, and black smoke make it all worth while!
  6. I've never seen one, but I imagine it would work. I don't know how large the Mercedes-Benz engines are, but as long as they're not too big, it should work. Also, be sure to check into WVO technology before you dive head first into it. It's not as simple as dumping the stuff into your tank and going. Do a little research on google about kits to convert WVO into usable fuel.
  7. Just because it wasn't high speed, it's OK? How would you feel if somebody was doing donuts in the street and hit your car? I doubt you'd have the same "it's no big deal" attitude then.
  8. It's one thing to break the law, it's another to endanger other people while doing it.
  9. The guy in the BMW needs to be shot. I've seen some pretty stupid people before, but that guy tops the list. The guy on the bycicle however, was pretty darn impressive. Getting bycicle tires to spin, let alone smoke takes some pretty strong legs.
  10. That's a great site. I only wish the images weren't blown up so large. It's rather difficult to read them and comprehend the images when you've got to scroll all over the place.
  11. "Shift Key (Shi-ft K-e) -noun- The key on a keyboard that, when pressed, will change a lower case letter into a capital letter" I'm sorry to hear that you're having troubles with selling your vehicle. Sometimes you've just got to stick it out and hope for the best.
