YES! SEE! That is Exactly what I want!! Exactly! And for that, all I need is the coil pack, bracket, and wiring harness? Gets rid of my dizzy, No use for a trigger wheel and is compatible with haltech e11v2? he has posts and topics on here Im sure?? and also, for when I get the LS coil packs, how hard is it to wire up? and diagrams are easily available Im sure?

how complicated is it to set this up with the haltech? I must go this route so I need to prepare and get everything together.. any sort of diagrams or advice please let me know, as well as everything Ill need.. thanks everyone. p.s. - yes I am also researching and searching myself Ive found a lot so far. but with haltech and what I will need exactly confuses me. I know I need lsx coils, wiring harness, brackets, and a trigger wheel?

yea, I need LS1 or LS6 coil packs, hopefully from a suburban or truck, but any kind will do.. as long as I have your word they are All working and good nice condition, doesnt have to be perfect but needs to look good.. I could also use All the other parts needed to hook them up. Im running Haltech e11v2, I need the harness, hopefully brackets, but also I think Ill need a trigger wheel? I dunno just let me know please! I also have a MSD 8910 Tach adapter, Its brand new in the package with diagran never even opened got it 2 weeks ago offline for $47, dont need it cus I dont have the MSD anymore.. so please if you consider a trade let me know. I also got Many many other parts.. Anything fron n42engine to a f54 block an p90head, an all the turbos, intakes, manifolds etc.

hey buddy, I have the tach adapter you need. its a Tach adapter 8910, I was going to use it.. but now I dont have a MSD6a ITS still in the box, not even opened yet, I just ordered it offline, like 2 weeks ago, and now I have no reason for it, I ordered and payed $47 with shipping, its still in the box, never opened, original PERFECT condition packaging, comes with diagram and everything you need. its the only way to get your RPMS working.. I have a 75 280z with a turbo ZX engine.. thats why my tach adapters wouldn't have worked either.. I wish I still had the msd, but nope my deal didnt fall through let me know if you need the tach. I havent put it up for sale yet cus it just crossed my mind from your post haha. good luck man

mm, well unfortunately, I just found out today I no longer have the msd6a box.. so now I gotta decide what I want to spend my next paycheck on that is compatible with haltech.. Im gonna just go with LS1 coils.. but, they Really hard to install is the only part I am unhappy about haha. well some people have told me that.. cus of the trigger wheel, and the initial setup.. thank you guys.

how was your experience with the MSD ignition boxes? I have MSD6a, going to install just wana make sure its the right choice this box over spending more money starting all over with the ls1 coils.. so ya, do you like the MSD? how much power are you running with the MSD? what ECU? was it better then LScoils? was it easier, or better for reliability of the engine? just anything you can throw out there.. Thank you guys.

thanks again guys for all your help. Im so excited to finish the build in the next day or two.. So Ima have a brand new freshly built block, the head only has 2kmiles on it since the rebuild, and a newer 100kmiler 240sx tranny, and brand new 20miles on the clutch! eee oh and ofcourse ALL new gaskets everything you can think! *jumps with joy* next is to tackle this ignition setup..

well, its not perfect, Im adding a MSD 6a (for now, see how it goes maybe get the LS coil pack of its a better choice, in the upcoming month), the tune wasnt perfect, but the car ran good had and gave good boost, sounded smooth, but something had to be off, were putting this engine with the MSD6a, only difference, and different engine.. Im also putting in my newer 240sx tranny since while during this swap we found out my tranny was busted.. I dont know how to tune or haltech at all, so my buddy is gonna do a slight street tune, since I have wideband, and Ima keep the boost at 5 untill I get it tuned.. but I guess 10 might be okay huh?

but if I already have the msd6a, should I keep it? or do the LS1 coil packs work better then the MSD?

well you what I actually learned yesterday when I pulled my old engine? the ORIGINAL Engine that I bought this car with, that was the original setup for this car that was ready for 20lbs, WAS A n42 block with DISHED PISTONS! It was never a f54 block!! the only difference now is the .30bore and flat top pistons!I wish I new a good reliable person in san diego to help me with this tune..

So, I we pulled my engine yesterday, starting the build for the n42 block. Found out today, the NA block is .30bored with flat top pistons, the pistons are CLEAN, not even black or anything, brand new rebuilt!, also have a NA cam.. So now running with the 550c injectors and walbrow fuel pump, Im gonna use my MSD 6a, instead of getting the LS! coil packs, and the haltech e11v2, Im gonna need a massive tune now? going from a dished standard size pistons on a n42 block to a .30 bored flat top pistons aren't I? And also, whats the same amount of boost to use prolly between 5 - 10 with the setup until I run boost? or is 10 even to much? Im also gonna try to run 93 octant insetad of 91.Any other safety precautions?? Ive never ran flat tops with turbo setup.anyone have good base mapt to start with?

I can get a ls6 Coil pack, brackets and wirening harness, Im running msd6a, with halteche11v2, Should I get a ls6 coil pack from a z06 corvette? or should I get the ls1 coil pack from the suburban or a camaro?? the z06 is around the same price.. but, I just feel its newer so in better condition.. what do you think? and what works better for turbo applications an my setup? 82 p90head, with n42 block turbo setup.. thanks for your opinions an what worked for you!

I could run the ford edis 6 coil on plug setup right? and Im guessing that gives a much better result then msd6a, unless I can use them together? I just dont want to waste my msd..
