  1. from a hyundai to a merc. one hell of an upgrade! bet the wife loves you even more
  2. glad to here your sticking with the RB
  3. another option from the T3 RLCA are Z force productions or if you have extra dough to spend, you can check out the arizona z car rlca which have a bit more adjustability such as toe adjusment.
  4. use a length of string to do all of your measurements. are you doing just the engine bay itself, or the whole car? I used a 25' roll of 3/8" SS line from summit when i replaced my lines during my RB swap (tank to engine bay) while your at it, its a great time to do the hoses out back and check the tank for rust.
  5. I did something silly, sorry, but you can check out my machine on photobucket, I pasted some thumbnails there. Not too many of these old beasties left either!!

  7. car's looking good!! really fast progress!
  8. Thanks for the compliments everyone. This is my first time ever posting my car. Lorenzo - due for some new tires soon so ill be sure to take some measurements! Inzane - using the rears for now 'til I get a little extra cash for coilovers and all that other good stuff, the fronts had coil bind so i put the stockers back on. I was thinking about cruising out to the monthly old school meet out in Sunnyvale. I went to check it out with a bud a few months ago, lots of j-tin and a pretty cool vibe. Its every last thursday of the month so if your free let me know! Delorean - running 215/50/15 BFG g-force sport. No camber adjustment, just tokico springs on blown shocks lol.
  9. Lorenzo, im not 100% sure on the exact offset but im pretty sure these have a negative offset. Ive seen centerlines in the same width with a zero offset and they have a smaller step lip.

  16. inzane, your car looks amazing and its nice to see it back on the ground. what ever happened to the epsilons you had when I first saw your car? those were gorgeous my current set up. 15x9 centerlines, pokes out way more than i'd like but it should be fine after i work on my suspension and install the flares. one thing at a time....
  17. trying to find a good condition rb20 or rb25 series 1 j60 MAF. Green label with part # 22680 02u00. if you have one shoot me a price! thanks
  18. that'd be a nice piece, keep us updated. im definitely interested.
  19. also the quality on the cx intercoolers are pretty good too, im using a 24x12x3 bar and plate cx on my s30 with a rb swap
  20. I have a mid sized npr tube and fin i.c. somewhere in my storage, but I agreed with the previous posts about ebay cx intercoolers, they are easier to fit, come in plenty of different sizes and the prices arent bad either
  21. So i finally got the rb20det in and running, fire it up and it sounds fine most of time its idling, but if i pay close attention i can hear a random miss that gets worst as the engine gets warmer. I pulled the plugs out and the tips were a little bit lighter grey than what it should be, almost a white color. It pointed me to lean condition so i pulled the maf, and right away i noticed it needed a good cleaning, sprayed it clean with maf cleaner and put everything back together. I fired up the car and it ran smoother but the miss was still there, but i did notice the smell of unburnt fuel decreased. I then turned the ignition system, i pulled the coil packs out and tested all of them with my multimeter, 0.8ohms on all (fsm 0.7-1.0ohms). I then pulled the boots off and noticed the spring loaded electrodes were worn and pitted on about 3 out of the 6. Im 98% sure these will cause a misfire. Long story short, can i buy a set of these electrodes and replace them, or am i due for a new set of coil plugs? Ive tried searching but didnt find much so please dont flame me.
  22. i wtb a new or used coil pack set for an rb20det eccs engine. please give me a price
  23. Yo arjay. Thanks for adding me. I finally put on those wheels. Check out my blog.

  24. Good deal! especially for a 70, i picked up my 70 for 5k a few years ago with the original engine/trans also rebuilt by z doctor. What's VIN on the car? I got a few random parts from a series 1 so if you're looking for anything in particular, let me know and i might have it in my storage. Congrats on your recent purchase!
