  1. Jon, or "ls1240z" made his with 2 engine stands he had to make them taller though.
  2. mine came with my boots. i got them from drivewire.com they also came with the grease. part # K6010-182726 - C.V. Boot Kit
  3. yeah i took it. my digital camera has a burst mode. it took a few tries to get it. you could try calling the company, the lady who answered the phone is kinda... abrasive... though. i couldn't get anything out of her... although i didn't try very hard. she told me the owner doesn't want to sell it, and kinda...hung up. beats me why they wuld pay for storage of such a rusty Z. chewievette. the dog there is cool with me...but stealing is wrong...
  4. http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y98/hansonicochico/ poke around. I just put up a bunch of pics of some stuff i did in my 3d design class at the community college. there's some pics of the z too...
  5. lookin good. you've changed my mind about roadster Z's. have you thought about taking the side glass out, and having the top of the door welded shut? you stated roadster, not convertable. I just think that that chrome door trim looks a little out of place now. ...anyways. great job.
  6. hmm... I just got mine like last week... when i called i asked for the sales person. I told him i needed them, and i explained the whole strut sectioning thing... i was expecting to pay but he said it was free... maybe he got fired...
  7. I called tokico and they gave me 2. {free}
  8. There are a few members on here that run the ssautochrome products with no problems so far. I'm sure they'll speak up.
  9. Arizona z car makes a single 4 barrel intake. i don't think anyone makes a dual 4 barrel.
  10. i'd be down for one for $7. Not bad at all.
  11. Every pic that you post goes into a little folder I call Austin's Z, for inspiration. Looks awesome, man.
  12. wilwood proportioning valve lets you adjust the front/rear bias.
  13. You might be able to try a japanese guage company like omori for metric guages, if your heart is not set on autometers. I don't think anyone uses 2 1/16 guages in z's.
  14. Here it is! the 6 speed tranny i took the intake and exhaust manifolds off to make it a bit easier to move around, [and i'm changing them anyways] it's really nice working on a new motor thats clean, and you don't have to fight every rusty nut and bolt. i'm picking up an engine stand for it later today.
  15. engine came today! i'll post pics later, i have to go to work.
  16. For an SR swap it's going to be complicated, and its going to be expensive. Spend time on some sr20 specific forums if you want to learn more about it. SR info is kind of lacking here on hybridZ. A simpler swap would be another L6 motor. Like they were saying, a well tuned motor will get good gas milage. Your driving habits will have a lot to do with the milage you get. Part of the reason why i'm doing an SR swap is good milage, because of the 6speed available. I plan on doing a lot of highway driving. [up and down the 5]
  17. nope there's an episode where they're on an island, and they've got those round chairs, and homer keeps getting drugged. that's what reminded me of the original tv show. btw i netflix'd "the prisoner" this is exciting.
