  1. Finished them up today. A quick look at the boot's instructions led me to believe that these snips we have would work. they did...
  2. I started re-assembling my axles from Ross[ who btw is awesome], and i don't know how to put the cv boot clips on... i tried the hose seperator tool... and couldn't cinch them down...and beyond that i don't know what my options really are. Anybody got any tips? Is there a special tool i need? Maybe should i take it down to the dealer? !!:mrgreen:!!
  3. put a digital photo of the interior in a paint program, and paint little red dots on it where the rivets would go
  4. i'm going to go with forged internals,and nice bearings right off the bat, for peace of mind. shouldn't that prevent most of the problems that should arise?
  5. yeah, you gotta swap the crank, they're not very exspensive.

  7. it does, i'm planning to swap it out for the electronic ignition, i heard you need to change to the sr20det valve cover, coilpacks and CAS...i don't know for sure.
  8. I just bought an sr16ve, and new s15 6 speed. Gonna change it into a rwd sr20vet. Going to LA on the 25th to pick the motor up.
  9. I think i read something about people using the sr20det valve cover to use the coilpacks. someone could verify that...

Just get the floorpan specific for your year, or some people just buy sheetmetal, and fab a pan. check out this thread, http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=106731 i believe he had rust in this area, watch the videos. you might be able to cut that piece off a junkyard z, or get it from someone who's parting theirs out. You should be able to re-use most of the parts, providing they didn't need to be replaced anyways, and you didn't break them in the process of taking them out. good luck

  16. once i saw a srt4 owner trying to do a burnout, and it looked so wrong with the back wheels staying put. i walked away thouroughly confused... then i realized it was fwd.
  17. having been to a few nhra drags [fram autolite nationals]... i heartily recommend the experience to anyone... tv doesn't do it justice. top fuel is just that insane.
  18. what are the part #'s for the threaded sleeves you ordered?
