  1. I was hoping for the z to lap the viper at the end
  2. I'll take a shot.. one of the timing chain guides is different per illustration #7 at: http://www.blackdragonauto.com/icatalog/z/0056.html Maybe someone else can elaborate (or post a pic) on the difference?
  3. The 2.5mm refers to the core/conductor itself whereas the 8.5mm is the advertised diameter of the wire with the silicon/insulating jacket.
  4. I had a similar experience with one of my rear strut tubes recently. After an overnight PB blast soak, I was able to hammer (@20min or so) it out so that the strut body was out about a half an inch. I then cleaned up some of the rusty crud and used a pipe wrench to grab the exposed strut body and twisted it out of the tube.
  5. I completed my S12W front brake upgrade recently. It took awhile to rebend the hardline. Hopefully this picture will help Onto the rear next!
  6. Les must be listening or something : http://www.classicdatsun.com/new/carbonfiberhood.html
  7. When I was looking for a fiberglass replacement front apron for my 72, I was refered to smoothline.com (I believe I was quoted ~$99.00 @ 5/2000 for that piece). I've heard their fiberglass front fenders are very well made - sorry I didn't ask for a price. They also carry fiberglass hoods, rear fenders, and the headlight buckets. I hope this helps. -John (BTW, I ended up getting a urathane/xenon spoiler from carparts dot com when they were coupon crazy.)
  8. Sweet! What size/type rims are ya using? I'm wondering if anyone is able to fit mike's (scca) Stage 2 rotors upgraded with the Outlaw 4000 calipers behind a 15x7 +0 offset Panasport setup?
  9. How about this? http://www.aritaspeed.com/aeroparts/s130-gnozeb.jpg Not available in the US tho (unless ya can import it)....
  10. That beautiful! Do you have any tips/pointers on installing those ZG flares? Are they rivited or bolted on?
  11. Hrmm.... Wonder how it would look with a set of SS headers on one side and a set of mikunis or TWM FI throttle bodies on the other? What are the holes or indentations on each side of the oilpan?
  12. Hehe.. Fairlady 327, let's cut to the chase and re-phrase the orginal question -> Are there any known RB26de(tt) powered 240Z-280ZX locally in the SF, CA area?
  13. Those are Longchamp XR4s. I'm guessing those are 15x7.5 -7offset. If you do a search on "xr-4" or "xr4" at auctions.yahoo.co.jp for some used sets, you will notice that they don't come larger than 15" (or any current XR4 ads in some Japanese car magazines). Too bad most of these state seller will not ship internationally
