it doesnt have to be redline. i heard some good things about royal purple and lucas. i always see the little lucas advertisement at karagens i think its pretty cool haha.
also the sticky and etc only happens in the moring when its cold so i dont think its the tranny(hope not at least).

well my transmission is grinding, sticking, downshifting, etc. was wondering if i could get some opinoins on good transmission oil for the datsun tranmissions. i heard on other forums that nissan tranies dont lke gl5 oils or something like that.
anyways im using redline mt-90 right now and it worked fine but now its bugging me because my tranny is grinding, sticking, etc.
was wondering wat you guys were running.

Was wondering if the Camber kits were worth the money since they only offer up to .75 degrees in camber. would get coilover+camber plates but my budget is low...

does the oil return line bung size matter?
and does the material its made out of matter?
im planning on using a 1/2 NPT steel bung for the return and 1/8 NPT feed with a 300zx t3 turbo.
would this work?

so my price list now is about $449 and some change for the rebuild...plus the machine shop work( dont know how much that costs)

does this go for just the head bolts?
or should the connecting rod and main bolts be changed as well?

hi im starting to gather parts for an engine rebuild/refreshment.
i was just going to get new gaskets, bearings, new timing chain, hone the block, jet washed...etc.
i was wondering if ARP studs were necessary for my rebuild/ refreshment.
if i can just use the stock bolts, that would be nice on my wallet.
btw this engine might see boost later on.
im just looking for opinions, suggestions, comments.
this will be my first work on the internals of an engine.

ok so i picked up some headers for $50...he said they were racing headers(?) but they look pretty good. overkill for my some what stock l28? yea but i got them for $50 soo yea...

naw i haven't used a power bleeder but one thing i have noted when the pedal is soft and im pushing it down there is a small sound of air somewhere but also the rear brake fluid container goes up then goes back down...if that means anything.

nice. i like the sound alot even tho its just a pipe then a resonator/muffler. its sick.
