  1. I have one in my car.

all i can say is that the cnc staging brake with a 3/4 bore is subpar for the z's stock drum brakes. im unsure of its effectiveness with a rear disk conversion but a 5/8 cylinder would probably be a better choice with the stock drums. CNC used to sell 5/8 staging brakes but when i ordered mine they said they only had 3/4.

    heres a pic:

the setup is for sale btw :icon6:

  2. That's what I thought, may I have info on the mod's done to the car? Especially the steering mods, I thought these cars didn't have enough lock to get good enough angle. I know I have gotten sideways before but I can't hold anything since I do a 1 wheel peel and the Ebrake is crap so that's not a means of sideways. I can only destroy my clutch to stay sideways

as you see in that pic there is no angle..lol

all i have is a rt mount, welded diff, 280zx turbo halfshafts, and AZC coilovers

i dont even have the camber plates welded in there

drifts were in initiated with on and off gas and slight braking

stock l28's have enough torque to break out 185/60/14's :)

  3. imo...

an affordable, adjustable height bolt on coilover will do wonders..

threaded adjustable monotube shock (inverted sucks to adjust with the datsun set up)

    weldon threaded tube

    non adjustable cnc strut mounts

    adjustable height, adjustable dampner settings,

    trackable, dailyable, easy

then offer a more serious coilover for the people with those needs.

    camber plates

    ???

    ???

  4. I recieved my Z from my neighbor who had it sitting in his driveway since i was 12. It had an electrical problem as someone wired the alternator wrong.

The interior was in pieces, it had no key, i had no idea if it would start, and it had a whole family of black widows living in it. When i was 15 i bought it from him for 500 dollars. got it running again and lookin clean.

its been with me ever since . i likes it.

  5. I forgot where i got these pictures from but they are in my info pics file.

looks to me like someone adapted the whole ebrake system from a 240sx.

combined with the 240sx rear caliper swap, this may be a viable ebrake fix.

i was also thinking a r/t mount may make the mounting in the tunnel easier.

i see alot of modification to the interior though.

if anyone has anymore info or pics on this swap that would be awesome
