I do understand for this size but cops are very strict here for louder cars 3" wouldn't be able to drive at all here. For NA I'm planning for 25 or 26 head with a 30 block stroked to 3.1 and run it on ITBs/ triple carbs

We can do something let me know your offer. Hey not sure about brand name they are generic ones from Thailand and Taiwan. I can buy one for you and ship it if you want. Made a small video clip with my blackberry so quality is not that good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC-8VhVHIgg&sns=em

Sorted out the wiring 80% (just cleaning up is left and some gauges hook up) Took the car to Fox for exhaust fabrication, went for 2.5" (inline with future NA plans) custom fabrication of down pipe with single resonator and muffler I used from HKS 2.5" inlet 4" outlet. The exhaust has steep clearance as there was a space near the differential to pass it but rear sway bar was blocking it. Anyways looks and sounds amazing. Fitment time Resonator Downpipe Blocking space Finished Ground Clearance Also fitted HKS BOV Current work going on, got a relay box just finalizing the wiring Moved the AC controller in the (so called) glove box Gauges are installed except boost controller (will do later) Fabricated stock fan controller unit but will move gauges down to headunit part and then do the whole in carbon fiber, it will have light on top, then AC Vent then custom space with some lights (hazard, high beam, AC and Alternator) and toggle switches for Fan and AC and boost controller then three gauges. Finally there is a seat in the car Have a short clip of exhaust sound will post once upload it

UPDATE: The electrician had some family problems hence the delay but he is trying to come once or twice a week to finish off the things. Once the wiring was done some wires from the harness got disconnected so car is having problem in getting started. I brought back the car to the workshop to get the fuel fine, fuel return channel and other pending intercooler piping done. All is done installed some new couplers and New Injectors as well as stock one were not fitting with this fuel rail. Everything looks good just the wiring once its started needed to be cleaned up Air filter is installed as well went for mushroom style because of lack of space Fuel system all ready Regulator moved to a better place Changed the battery terminals as well Battery kill switch will go inside the dashboard console along with AC switches Bought Cusco Oil Catch Can (original JDM lol) form the shop owner as he was storing it for last two years so will be installed with a breather filter Got a good deal on HKS BOV as well, will install after starting the car Thinking of selling and removing the rear spoiler Car was dirty as hell but still love the paint job

Still on stock ECU, but haven't started the car just changed the injectors yesterday as with the fuel rail stock ones were not fitting. Hopefully by Saturday will start the car. I have plans of tunning it later with Unichip

New AC condenser with a fan fitted nicely, oil cooler still needs mounting bracket Remote door and trunk locks installed Blue light on parking light setting Love the quality of Xenons, very bright Rear lights and Licence plate lights still stock ones will replace later with LEDs

I tried them before posting the thread no reply. Any idea who was there in Australia, for me US or Australia is same

I told you, you wont be disappointed Finally I can say final stages. Engine upgrade things are done still needs to test it though. Dropped the car for full rerun the wiring in a proper way, fixing the AC and all guages All opened up After doing lots of tests the guy couldnt fit the evaporator to the stock blower so bought a whole new evaporator with built in blower its more of a universal kind Comes with controller as well Got a whole immobilizer, remote door trunk opener and along with keyless entry and starting No Key now Will use these to kit the footwell area Wiring all sorted out through the firewall, no tape will be used all electric soldering These are the final three guages which will go in place of headunit Was really excited to see the LED lit guages so first start Cant wait to get all this done

I am looking for a L24 in good running condition. Will prefer a built engine with/without triple carb setup. Please email me on draamiralikhan@gmail.com Thanks
-
Man no idea about the price over there in US, if you could please let me know will appreciate it. Just to confirm it is with TPS (throttle position sensor)?
-
It was more like 20% more expensive got 4litres for around 120$ from Dupont

I am looking for clear lenses for the front lamps. Saw on many cars but couldnt find where to get it from? Saw some links of one company KlearZ making it but its not on the website now. Anyone has any idea, much appreciated

Current update id the Idle motor IAC was different in the engine then what goes in the manifold, so I bought one from series 1 RB25 which might solve that problem. For throttle body went to local junkyards to day couldnt find Q45 so now what Im planning is to use the adaptor which came with manifold and cut the stock throttle body and will fit both together, lets see how it goes
-
Thanks for the reply, Im getting a lot from that, will check your thread as well now. What are the possibilities of using stock throttle body just with TPS, dont need traction control and things like that. In the pic I marked what to remove and what to keep is that ok? I can get the machine work done to get it fitted thats not an issue but only concern is will the idle problem will be there or TPS takes care of it?

Thanks man that comment is a great help, as of now im even willing to take the whole TB out, either try to find Q45 or even use stock. As for ECU not sure if its linked as the ECU didnt come with the car the shop had few lying around so they used one. Im not such a technical person but i have seen people running these intake manifold on series 1 RB25 not using anything that what I perceived from the pictures on the net. Something like this just a TB?

Nice...keep the pics coming

some help is needed here: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/107635-help-needed-fro-rb25det-neo/

Hey guys, I have installed a RB25DET NEO in my S30 here is my built thread. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/104889-project-rb-z/page__st__40 The engine wiring everything was done and it was running properly. When installing intercooler pipes the installer asked me to change the fuel rail and I in excitement order Greddy style intake manifold and 80mm throttle body along with it. Parts reached here in Dubai Fuel rail even because of top and side feed injectors fitted, so all good. Intake manifold is for series 1 engine but it fits perfectly fine. I got some machine work done on the intake and now throttle body is also fitted on it. Now I can fit my old TPS and idle motor as there is literally no space left, here they are Does anyone know what to do? space is very limited and if I can run without these or changing these to something else? If all fails then might need to revert back to stock one.

Will take some updates on the engine parts on Sunday. Few things which were done, was fixing the dashboard and installing Autometer gauges. I used the stock bezels and moulded them in the dashboard. Kept them a bit tilted giving a more modern look. Dash had two big cracks was almost in two pieces, fixed with epoxy and then sanded and painted matte black. Finished dash three bigger guages went in place of stock There are three more guages, A/F ratio, Voltmeter and Fuel guages which will go in place of radio headunit. Got the exhaust muffler as well, 2.5" pipe will get a custom one to go with it. Nardi steering Cusco front and rear Strut bars
