  1. on the 300zx ignitor theres 3 wires that go into it and none that come out. how would i hook it up to work on the 280?
  2. i checked the sensors and changed my head temp sens. no it doesnt smoke at all. i dotn have any vacuum things hooked up. jus my AFM. maybe its cuz they dont have all the crap on it. it runs good when it wants to. i think the AFM might be going bad tho cuz when i mess with the flap it idles a lil better and revs cleaner.
  3. when i go home today ill put one from my 300 in. if the ignitor is bad will it make it run kinda messed up? like it runs smooth then kinda rough and then when u drive it it sputters and when it smooths out it runs fine but not for very long. any ideas?

  5. ok on my 78 280zt it was idling and then all of a sudden died. now it has no spark. im thinking its the ignitor. is there a way to test it or bypass it? will one from a 300zx work?. after this i think im going MSnSe. any help would be great

  11. yea its a bolt on one. i paid like 35 bux for it. yea the port from TB to manifold is way smaller.

  14. ok i got these wheels they say hayashi racing on them. anyone know anything about them? i have pics of them but i dont know how to load them on here.
  15. its nice to see some custom work for the Z's. www.webercarbs.com sells ITB's for the Z cars turbo and N/A. its like $2400 tho

  17. ok after i wired it back in the car only sparks when it wants to. before it was running pretty good. if i pick the dizzy u and spin it it sparks but when i crank it it doesnt sometimes. i made sure the connections were good and it sparks when it wants to. the harness from the main harness to the dizzy was pretty messed up so i wired in new wires and now thats what happens. could my CAS be goin bad? or should i jus replace the harness? does anyone know if a z31 CAS will work in the 280 dizzy? has anyone tried?

  22. ok heres what happend on my l28et 280z one of my wires was loose from the harness to my dizzy. so i unpluged the harness and when i went to unplug it from the main harness it broke a couple wires. and i cant splice them together cuz the colors dont match. so heres my question.... the 4 wires coming from the harness (b,bw,gb,gy) which spots do they go to on the dizzy? will anyone help me? plzzzz lol
  23. what do u think would be the possible most to bore it out? i was messin around with the engine make thing and if the numbers fit like that says it does it would be like $5500 for a all forged bottom end all custom sized. and i figured out to make a 3.6L with the l28 block. so here are my questions.. 1. what is the most u can bore? 2. whats the biggest possible stroke for the crank? 3. what is the minimum pin height that can eb used? heres what im hoping i can do.... 91 bore 92 stroke 139 rods flat top piston with 21 pin height 2mm HG p90 head if it fits it works out to be 3.590L CR 8.55 any input would be great guys thanks..... and a huge turbo 3.6 240z would be SO FAST lol
