  1. ah...the few...the proud! i watched about 5 minutes (spread across teh whole movie from a download i aquired) of the 1st one and can speak from first hand experience that it was big time gay. thats 5 minutes of my life that i want back!!!!

  3. there was a link posted on a forum (im pretty sure it was here) about how to fix the rear camber problem. it was pretty in detail and involded some slotting and welding of plates. if anyone know what im talking about and could post that link id be VERY grateful! thx
  4. the transistor if different between the two. ill post pics later. oh yea, its goin onto my VG s12.. but i cant see them changing the coil setup between the VG s12 and the Z-31 na
  5. oh yea, im gonna have to make a bracket and mount the tensioner where the AC pump bolts up. no biggie
  6. thx for the input guys. yea, its a REALLY tight engine bay. s12's are **** for that. side mounting it is definetly NOT an option due to how large that blower is. the AC pump has already been removed. i have a couple spare hoods i can cut up so top mounting is alright. as far as the TB goes, im gonna use the one thats on there already adn re-wire the TPS and just weld up an adapter plate where my KA24 TB is presently. as far as a BOV goes, that particular blower (eaton m90...comes stock on the t-bird supercoupes) comes stock w/a bypass valve its on back of the blower
  7. lol, a good reason why NOT to post at 6am clicky clicky oh yea, the coil's are not swapable. ill post some pics of the differences tomorrow. im trying to toss on a coil from my 85 z31 to my 87 s12
  8. thx again for the help jason. fyi, ive decided to go w/an eaton M90 SC as i found one at the local wrecker (complete unit, pullies and tensioner, EVERYTHING) from a supercoupe for $65. i think this will be a much simpler then stuffing a vg30et into that thing due to lack of space. its gonna be a monster. here's a link on the s12 forum w/pics of the blower on top of the plenum. im gonna mock up an adapter plate and a bracker for the tension this weekend. not to sure what to do about the hood LOL

  10. lol. one of them is RIP and is now a parts car. the SE is my daily driver, as is the s13 and the toyota. the s110 is for jumping, i also have another s12 in my back yard i some how aquired for free (i have strang friends lol) and im pickign up another s13 convertible car tonight. haha. i lvoe cars, what can i say?! ive had WWAAYY to many in my lifetime thanks again man!!
  11. cool, thx for the tip. just out of interest, how much did that run ya? corona eh? sweet, i was just up there this last weekend pickign up a new tranny for my SE S12 i was thinking about getting one for my s13, but its just really a cruiser so i dont think id really need it. this would actually be for my s12 (the rear end is the same)
  12. does anyone know if this is a direct bolt in to our cars? i hear the 240sx boys are using them but not sure about the half shalfs matching up. thanks in advance

  14. is it do-able? i hear its a bolt in item on the 240sx's and they come w/LSD's. hell, there's three of them at the wreckers right now and its 1/2 off for memorial weekend
  15. what are the vg30e injectors rated for as far as flow goes?
  16. haha, RIIIIGHT. if by chance the next time your at the junk yard and happen to spot a VQ could you please see if the VG/KA/CA, etc TPS would bolt onto that throttle body? that would be a HUGE help as no one seems to know and my local wreckers never have one

  18. how much do those weber's typically go for? i assume the bolt pattern is the same as a stock TB on say...a Z-31 or 240? how about the TPS shaft?
  19. cool, all very good information. thanks guys! ive actually had a quick word w/jason and had a look at his site and there's some definite good reading there. as far as mc's remote mount goes, its not completed and im gonna pass on that setup. i know the stock manifold isnt going to work (there's NO way the exhaust pipe from the passenger side manifold will fit back there), im going to have make new manifolds so i can use whatever size O2 sensor i wish oh, and yes. its coming out of my 85'. is there any harness differences that you guys know of from the SE s12 to the Z-31T? i understand there's a knock sensor? is that it? i think im going to have to pick up a few FSM's. lol *edit* oh, on a side note, ill be tossing up the auto tranny, torque converter, ecu and some other various parts out of my Z31T on ebay in the next week or so. ill post them up here. let me know if you guys need anything drivetrain specific (that i dont need for my conversion)
  20. cool. thanks for the tip man. i knew you'd come threw! how's things been been? havent seen ya since that fiasko on club-s12. dan left fyi, i guess he up and tossed the thing to someone else and bailed. anyways. whats going on is im yanking the engine out of my SE and putting in a vg30et. well, its gonna be a mix/match of both engines as im sure you already know, some parts dont fit! im going to make my own exhaust manifolds, intake plenum and POSSIBLY do a TT setup. ive not decided on that as of yet. right now im more concerned about getting my EFI and engine rebuild sorted out. at anyrate, my Z is the donor (she's getting a V8). do you know what the differences are on the two heads? just the cams right? if so, i might use my cams in the SE as they've only got 75k on them. im going to have to pick up a Z-31 service manual here pretty soon. cheers oh yea, the reason i was asking about interchangibility on the MAF's is that i read somewhere that you can swap out a 86' Z-31 MAF and ECU into the SE, but only that model due to the MAF and O2 sensor being diffent? ive never owned an 85' Z-31, can you shed some light on that?
  21. soooo, does anyone know if the output voltages are different from an 86' turbo to non turbo MAF? thanks in advance

  24. ive searched and searched...doesnt anyone make a header for the VG30et? also, what are the differences between the 86' VG30et and VG30E harness, ECU and Mass airflow? thanks!
