  1. Did you ever measure the back spacing on the rims after you got them back?
  2. I want in on this raffle please..
  3. Sorry for the delay. Didn't know I had any reply's.
  4. Aftermarket steering wheel. Sorry, I want a little nicer door panel. It looks like those are ripped. Do you have a complete ashtray? I need the part that slides and bolts to the console.
  5. I'm looking for a couple parts for my 73 240Z. Steering wheel. Factory wooden wheel and horn. Door pulls (the rubber strap things) Window cranks 2 of the Knobs that go on the air/heat slides. I edited my post because I gotten a couple things and found a couple more I need. Not looking for perfect just nice. Trying to finish my LS street car.
  6. I'm looking for a race type roll bar for my 240Z project car. Something SCCA approved for solo 1 and 2. I'm in NC. Would like to find one somewhat local. Thanks,
  7. I've have a couple people asking me about the rims. This is everything I know. They are ROTA RB-R size 17x8.5 with a +4 back space. Stock lugs I think that comes out to a 4x114.3. The tires are a 225/45/17. I got them very cheap from Craigslist so I'm going to change them when I start driving it. I think I can run a 245/40/17 front and back. And maybe a 255/40/17 in the back. I'm running coilovers front and rear.
  8. Hers another picture of the car. With some more stuff back on it. I bumpers are just sitting on it for now. That's why there not sitting on the car correctly. I need to paint them black or get them rechromed. I think I'm done workng on her till spring. Got a lot of things to do around this time of year. The rims are 17x8.5
  9. Thanks guys, I forgot about this post.. I need to post some more pictures of what it looks like now..
  10. Looking for a set of door window seals for a 73 240Z. It's the part the window seats in. I ordered a weatherstriping kit and it did not come with. So if anybody has a extra new set around and want to sell. Let me know. Thanks, Duane
  11. It's Orange. A little more brown then the factory color. Not sure how that happend? I ordered the factory code color. But it looks good with the gold wheels. Not to bad for my first paint job. Going to try and get the cage done over winter then start inside..
  12. The new Ign switch is for a 73 240z. The new ign key does not fit in the old pass side lock or hatch lock. He can rekey the drivers side because it will slide in there. So I'm stuck buying two other locks and maybe the key will slide in. If not I have to find another..
  13. I think I have found the handles. I also need a pass side door lock and Hatch lock ..
  14. Where do you live? Do you have any pictures of them?
  15. I posted this on another catagory but got nothing back. So I'm going to try in here. So I'm rebuilding a 73 240z. I bought the car over three years ago. Car did not run and came with 2 different keys. So into my build I replaced the ign switch assembly with a new one. Now that I have the body painted I wanted to rekey the door and hatch locks to the new Ign switch. Well the Lock smith says I have two different style locks. The door lock can be rekeyed to work but not the Pass side or hatch lock. Does anybody know what I need to match with the new ign lock? I'm thinking that in the past the driverside was replaced. Maybe that's why the driverside door lock can be change to work. Any idea's ??? I'm thinking that maybe they changed the lock type in the 260 or 280 cars..
  16. We love Apex. It is a great little town. If you haven't been here in a couple years the Downtown area is filled with shops and Pubs now. It's cool to able to walk home from.. I love Road Atlanta but I've only driven it once after they changed the track. What a rush Gravity cavity was back in the day.. Sounds like we should know each other. I used to instruct with Tarheel, Car Guys, Alfa club and a couple of the BMW clubs. Plus work in some local Auto X. Here's a couple pic's of the car.. I'm hoping to have it done next year.

  18. Thought I would post here first before I bought new ones. Parts needed.. They don't have to be perfect but very nice.. Outside door handles. Round emblems for rear quarter panels. Both Door Dove tails. Weather strip kit.. If someone bought one and did not use it.. Part are for a 73Z..
  19. Great looking car and fast.. Reading your post is CMP your local track? Or do you come up to VIR or down to Roebling? I used to drive/instruct with Tarheel and other clubs in the area... Got out of it about 8 years ago. It's a long story involving a ex wife.... But I've been building a LS1 240Z for street and track for about 3 years. I'm hoping to get it on track late next year...Thanks for the thread it makes me want to get out there in the garage:)..
  20. If he does not want them what are you asking for them? I need a set. I'm also on the East Coast.
  21. I thought the last 7 months working on the body that Gold wheels with orange paint would look funny. And was going to paint it White or Blue but thought what the hell.. I'm so glad I did the orange.. They look great together!! I had a couple panels that needed to be repaired but the body work came out nice. This has taken longer then the LS1 swap I did to it.. After spending all day wet sanding it. I'm still not happy how flat the paint is. So now I'm going to get it as flat and smooth as I can and Clear Coat it. Then wet sand it again..Maybe that will make me happy.. My plan is to put the chrome and SS back on and get the bumpers redone with the holes filled in. Then start on the cage.. It's going to be a street and Driving school car..
  22. Yes, I'm going to keep the wheels Gold. It's the factory color code. But I think it's a little more brown in it then the stock color..
  23. Well I'm one step closer to driving my 73 240z. I still need to wet sand and buff out but it's gettting there..
