  9. i'm planning on becoming a member but i've been just so busy lately. i will get around to it. i got so much support already from that site when i was looking for a Z i got numours emails telling me where to find them in calgary.
  10. Just thought i'd post some pics of my project, i'm moveing in a couple weeks so when i get settled i'l start my project, it works out kind of nice it gives my time to study up and plan out the swap.

  12. well its going to be a street car that can smoke those ricers that pull up in there lawn mowers. I'm going to be putting alot of hours and money in this car. i think it will take 1-2 years to fully finish. (well mabye not fully is any car really fully finished) so i should do all the body work(except paint) first after test fit.i'm also going to be installing a roll cage, when should i do that? i assume near the begning. one thing i lucked out on is the floor pans are in good shape, the only real rust problem is on the drivers side fender but i think i'm going to do a wide body and the flares should take the spot of the rust.

  14. i tried searching for this but i didn't find too much. i'm starting too strip my Z ( i can't get really too into the swap because i'm moveing soon.) but i was wondering what order you guys did things. i'm trying to plan out which way to go about it. i'm thinking after its striped, too start on the engine/drivetrain/electrical, then frame supports, suspension/brakes etc, and keep body work(paint etc..) till last. (I don't have a limit on time).

  17. What abotu the 89 corvette, didn't it come with 6-speed? i really would like a 6-speed behind the 327.
  18. Ya I found someone with a bounch of 60's 327 just sitting there, and tring to choose LS1 or 327, I just gotto find a 5 speed that will bolt up. anyone know good std trannys for a 60's 327?

  20. well its in the "chevy v8" because i'm converting and i thought that people that have already done the swap would have Strengthen up the frame and they would know where to get good quality and share there experiences and I couldn’t find anything about aftermarket parts in Calgary "Subframe connectors? Why?" to minimize "twist" and a start point to build up the frame for the swap. do you think i should do it a different why?
