  1. Well I've searched and I can't seem to find any info on this, just some people making some assumptions about its limits and deciding to go automatic or another route. So does anyone have any difinitive HP or Torque limits of this transmission? Or is this a mute point as I have heard more about stub axle/companion flange/CV failure than the transmission failing? As a side note anyone know what some of these 1000hp Jun, top secret, hks cars are doing to confront these problems, and yes I know they are AWD cars thus their will be a torque split. So did I answer my own question?
  2. Yes everyone is correct on the user, and yes the reason I was asking was from some threads I was reading that he contributed to. I then went looking for other threads through his profile and noticed, according to the site that he had recent activity ( within days ) and thought that was very odd. Trust me I don't know nor do I care to know why he was banned. I've decided that this question was about the limit of what I should be asking and I HOPE I never get banned from this site, It would be like loosing a few million brain cells!! Thanks for all the responses I'll go back to my dark place and continue to lurk.
  3. Ok, I'm not going to even try to understand why I see certain users get banned. What I really want to know is how a user can be banned but have recent activity under their profile? Does this make sense? I will not list the users name but his last post was in July and his profile says his last activity was 6 days ago. Someone care to enlighten me?
  4. I'd have to agree that it's some kind of wire or cable spooler. Flange on one end, threadable eye on the other with some kind of lever to adjust cable location. Looks like the concave piece on the end could be a rolling guide for the wire or tubing. Heh but its almost certainly more simple than it looks!
  5. Maybe I'm missing something but you state that you are in a financial bind to finish the car but yet you are going to go test drive some SVT Cobras?? Test drive normally means you are in the market for a vehicle which would indicate that you have atleast SOME funds. A montly payment on a cheap 25k used SVT would be enough to finish this car within 6-12 months. If you are looking at a new SVT then I don't see how you are having these "Financial" issues. My vote is to suck it up and keep it, I mean are you really going to get all your time and effort out of it in addition to the cost of your parts? I wouldn't think so.
