I have had an '07 G35x for about a month and i think it is amazing. I had to drive out of town today with my buddy and pick up some firecrackers for this weekend. We were on a stretch of road w/ no traffic. I went from a rolling 80 to 120 in just a few seconds. The funny thing is I remember my old '84 Supra (not 90s I know) I had it up to 120 a couple of times and it scared the S**t out of me. The G35 was so smooth and stable feeling at that speed I didn't even feel uncomfortable. Also when tromping on it in a turn with the AWD Ive never driven a car that can accelerate so quickly and still feel in control.

Thats what I was thinkin AKWIKZ. I bought a 78 2+2 about a month ago and I was thinking it would be kinda cool to go with these mirrors if they are correct to the year instead of the bullet type which I also think are sweet. I would be willing to pay the lion's share of the current bid of $500 for those items. I realize these might be the most valuable items on the car but if someone was interested in doing a RHD conversion or something this would be a way to subsidize the project. Danny

If I'm not mistaken, the car in the video was only burning out on the rear tires so I assume it was in 2wd mode. Seems like I read that R33s could do that, otherwise it must have an RB25 tranny in it. Thanks for the replys since I'm a newbie. Danny

I've been lurking around here for quite a while and this thread brings up something I've been pondering. Obviously this skyline is insanely fast. I bought a s30 2+2 about a month ago. I am almost sure I will put an RB26 33 or 34. I know aerodynamics are a constraint for High speeds. My question is: What is the likelyhood of obtaining this type of acceleration with a comparabely equipped RB in an S30?
