  1. It looks like a small paint can lid. Yes, I think you are describing the right cap. Its on the end that bolts to the stub axle, not the pointy end that goes into the differential. Thanks for helping out no matter the outcome!
  2. Still haven't found one. I am not sure of how they remove, the axles I have were missing one cap when I bought them.
  3. I need one end cap for the 300zx turbo 4-bolt cv axles (Z31) commonly used in the s30 cv conversion. If you have ruined one or two of these axles and still have the pieces lying around and want to help me out that would be great. thanks.
  4. I'm not interested in repros, I already have them, and the ones I have I don't want to sell just in case I never get the OEM one that I need. Thanks though.
  5. Some people have said they didn't have to shorten it, others have shortened from 1/2" to 1". You need to measure for your particular car once everything is in place.
  6. Does anyone have any ideas about the identity of this oil pan I stumbled across? It is apparently a dry-sump setup, but it is much deeper than any other I have seen, and the pan is offset to the opposite side compared to a normal z-car wet-sump pan. There are no identifying marks on it. Any help would be appreciated; i.e. who made it, specific purpose, etc.
  7. In Nevada and California I have always heard it as dot-sun, since I moved to Oregon I have heard a lot of people say dat-sin.
  8. Not mine. They aren't perfect, but this seller has had them in the past as well. Maybe they can find a perfect set for you. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310126469218&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&viewitem=
  9. Seriously, how many people are going to look at your car and go "D@mn, that's an awesome ride.......except for those 'repro' euro turn signals." Please. It's especially funny seeing this kind of criticism from members whose vehicles are nowhere near OEM.
  10. Yes, seatbelts are extremely convenient when you stumble upon a turbo engine at your local pick-n-pull.
