    Life?

Have you thought about the military? Granted, right now might not be the best time to join the Army or Marines, but the Air Force and Navy might be viable options. Either one is a good place to pick up valuable skills for use in the civilian job market when you get out. They're not perfect jobs, just like any other they have their share of bull$hit to deal with, but you can't beat the job security and travel. Mike
  2. Years ago a company named Nalle (I think?) used to produce a Daytona kit for the Z. It actually looked pretty good, but some of the essential lines of the real Cobra were missing, and the roofline looked a bit high. Vinh on here has one, or had at one time. Heres a link to his cardomain page with pics: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/768663/9 Personally I think the Factory Five replica looks much more like the real thing, and is closer in construction to the original as well:
  3. Hell no it ain't wrong! I must have watched that video about 8 times before I posted it here. It's like, better than internet porn even. One of these days I'm going to have to get the Factory Five replica. My life just won't ever be complete without owning one of these. The Z is close, but not quite..... It's like wanting Morphine, and having only Asprin. Glad you guys are liking the video. Mike
  4. How much torque are you looking for? I was thinking more along the lines of this one: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXN668&P=7
  5. Me too! Me too! Put me down for 3 Mat. Mike
  6. Wow, thats pretty cool. The articulation on that is unreal. Have you looked at sail winch servos? I seem to remember some of the Hi-Tech and Futaba servos being pretty cheap, gobs of torque too. Mike
  7. Video of a very very rare car, probably worth more than all of our Z's combined. Seriously. For anyone who was following the Z car areodynamics thread in the body kits/ pain forum a few weeks ago, pay attention as they discuss the Cobras areodynamics in this vid. Sounds like some familiar problems were encounterd with the sloping hatch design of the Cobra. Anyway, here is the link: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=165009652687492356&q=daytona+coupe&pl=true Mike
  8. Damn that thing sounds evil! Looks like a pretty confined area to run a turbo, I bet that car will haul a$$ on the open road.
