Man...I love Z's. Looks good!
So I weighed one of my wheels and the 17x9.5 wheel is 19.8 lbs. Has anyone been concerned about the weight or noticed any handling differences with their RB-Rs? I haven't mounted mine yet...but im upgrading from 15x7 panasports. Not a huge deal cause the Z these are going on is just for cruising around not auto X-ing. However, I'm still curious if these have affected anyone's handling/ride or if isn't noticeable.
Its not so bad for the weight because real Watanabe RS weights around 17 lbs in 16 x 9-9,5 .

This looks like a thread jack. What does Tein have to do with this particular issue? For the record I've never seen Tein springs advertised or talked about...
Mind you that in post #1 he mentioned that the companie sended them 2 tein coils to try and fix the problem and post #9 asked the same question as i am and never got an answer so im re-asking again .

I mgonna try to do a hybrid of the S30 and S13 dash . Top is the Z one and the center console will be the S13 one ill post pictures when it will be underway .

^ Thats exactly what i was planning to do . In the end its all about taste because the 240Z bumpers wont protect you much from rear ending accident nor having reinforcement behind the shave .

wow You guys have CHEAP! gas weve been paying the equivalent of 5 $ a gallon for a good while now but hey we all know its not gonna last a butterfly will fart or what not and the price will rise again for no good reason , at least in Canada its like that any and every reason is good to up the gas price .

Well you can get fixed but they are around 1 to 1,5 % higher from the get go I think of it as a gamble you can have years with a way low rates or if the market gets better you can get stuck with high rate ... their is always a way to renegotiate but ill check what i can have when i get to the bank ill have some lever on the interest rate since ill have cash its getting me very anxious im starting construction in the spring of 09 .

Well, when I was approved the rate for a 30 year fixed mortgage was 5.875%.
During the 5 months I was looking, I noticed the rates went up to 6.4%.
Then when I found out I got an accepted offer, the rate was back down to 5.875%. Then two days later its at 6.2%, and now its at 6.4%.
Geez. I'm going to wait it out and see if it will go back down, I have until the 30th to close.
WOW that is great rate FIXED 5.875 % for 30 years! here for a 25 year mortage its just 5 years fixed at 7,20 % then you can refix it for the rate at that momment or let it go year to year and so on and so on !

7800 can $ for the car and about 250 $ on odds and ends repair so far . But i got a plan down for the future and im in for 25k $ at least now .

Im just curious to know what are the interest rate and for how long . I live in Canada , Quebec province and im wondering about the diffrence . If you dont want to answer its ok i wont care i was just curious since im build my own home in the spring .

Anyone here ever go with cutting the whole roof off at the pillars and welding in a new one? Pics?
Bad idea never cut in the structure of the unibody best would be to garft the skin of another roof .
Just wanted to know since im a noob at bodywork couldnt you use lead to fill in the body i saw that on some hot rods and on Mull's car ?

I was planning on trying it out since i find the RB26 cover to be more pleasing to my eye then the 25 one but i would grind away the 26 number and leave the RB letter to not have it pass for a 26 when its not .

yes it fits but the best way and cheap way is to get the crank collar problem fixed . I dont remeber how its done but its the cheapest way to fix this problem .

Ok first the Z33 6 speed box is a good box most high end turbo setups all have the basic 6 speed and it holds . Second the 6 th gear is useally useed on modern cars to have a decent higway gas milleage while cruising . Third what i heard is the maxima guys use VQ35 heads on VQ30 bloc not the other way around . And fourht search the NICO forum and youlll find more answer then here i think , since this swap isnt very popular yet and their is just a handfull of members doing it .
