take a look at the floats does anyone see a problem like i do? like possibly the tops are from different carbs

new problem guys. i had spare su's and changed out the shafts and very little play, the old shafts were showing brass badly, the ones i put in still had the plating on it. no shaft leakage. but i have the problem of my firewall carb running lean. i did lift the piston and it kills the motor, the other side (radiator carb) stays close to idle. so i adjust the mixture thing on the bottom to richen, nothing, some gain but not much. i think what the problem is; is the float adjustment. when i turned my fuel pump off and let it starve itself i took the float covers off to see what i had. my firewall carb still had fuel in it and my radiator carb was bone dry. floats people???? im leaning toward that idea but need some input from you guys. also note: new sm needles new nozzles new float cutoff valves

z therapy wont sell the bushings and shafts separate from their carb kits. so i must find elsewhere

my butterfly shaft and the bushings are worn and causing a vaccum leak, anyone know where to get some replacements b/s ztherapy?

ive got 4 reds, 4" rubber insulated. 7" is huge, (headlight size)

i did the conversion, i used the the automatic spacer plate----->no problems for me. but you do have to have it or it will mess up the teeth on your new flywheel. wait a sec, you are talking about the plate that goes between the engine transmission? and if so do you have a gear reduction starter ( short skinny nose) or the other type (fat from front to back) james

i need to paint my 280zx, but i have no place to paint it (i live in apt.) i have most of the stuff to do it; but i dont know anyone in the area that is able to assist me with a garage or something, also its not meant to be show quality by no means. i just need to paint the car b/c its multicolored and mostly purple. plz help me out someone!!! btw, i can paint. just dont have a place to paint it. james
