  1. Does the EDIS module give you spark on the car?
  2. Looks like you have the FIDLE circuit set for fast idle instead of spark output. You can change it to spark output under Codebase and Output Functions.
  3. The pulsing fuel pump indicates a config error. I'd see if you can connect with Port Check first, and if you can't, try reloading the firmware.
  4. The valve we're selling works very similar to the GM valve - it's just we haven't been able to find an affordable source for the GM valve as it's been discontinued. The settings for our solenoid will work with a GM valve except the GM valve needs a bit more duty cycle.
  5. Depends on what IAC mode - could you post your MSQ?
  6. It's probably not the RPM signal wire that's noisy. I'd first try beefing up the grounds.
  7. I noticed one reset, that's often a noise issue and needs to be fixed. Here's what happened when the duty cycle dropped. At one point you had the RPM dip below 300, which put the MS in cranking mode. When the RPM came back up, the afterstart enrichment kicked in for a while, and that's something that adds fuel but then tapers off quickly.
  8. Might be too much acceleration enrichment then. Try disabling it and get the VE table dialed in first.
  9. I'd try reloading the firmware first in case it's just corrupted code.
  10. Yes, tell it to run 029v. You might as well upgrade the firmware to 029v unless you have a very good reason to, as it fixed a couple bugs in 029q. You can even keep your old MSQ file when you upgrade.
  11. Is the EDIS stuck at a single advance number, or does its advance follow the readings in MegaTune?
  12. If you connect to the LC-1 with LogWorks, can you see your AFR there? Any error messages?
  13. We have an older copy of the tuning software here: http://www.diyautotune.com/downloads/tuning_software/diyautotune_software_win_101007.exe This one will work with 029q2 - tell it you're running 029v. Or better yet, actually upgrade it to 029v or 029y4; the 029v upgrade fixed an ignition timing bug.
  14. It sounds more like an issue with the transistor if that measurement is right. How does the FIDLE light behave on a Stimulator when you turn the CLT trim pot?
  15. You're welcome. Glad to hear it's working now.
  16. The input section is set up correctly as the MS never "sees" the VR sensor signal. If that's set up truly wrong, the MS won't see an RPM signal at all. I'm guessing the problem is with the output side. Do you have JS10 jumpered to IGN directly? If you still have the direct coil control mod this will interfere with the EDIS output. And yes, our relay cables are set up with the wire for S5.
  17. You're losing the RPM signal. I think the sensor in your distributor may be on its way out.
  18. While there is no release date set, it's likely to be out by the end of the year. Any particular reason you are looking for sequential injection? What sort of motor is it?
  19. Try turning off the wheel decoder and unplugging your injectors - see if you can get RPM that way, just for testing.
  20. Current MegaSquirts are bank to bank / batch fire. There are a couple sequential MegaSquirt variants in various stages of beta or alpha testing, with from four to eight injector channels.
  21. Do you have a log of the RPM while cranking?
  22. First question: Are you getting an RPM signal? If not, I would check the CAS first. The MS will not spark until it gets and RPM signal. If you are getting an RPM signal, you will need to check the output side instead.
  23. There's a preconfigured copy of MegaTune in the Software/Downloads sectionof our website if you're having difficult loading the INI file.
  24. AVG seems to have a habit of killing Internet connections though. For some reason every PC I installed it on eventually couldn't get online, problem went away when I removed AVG.
  25. Glad to hear it's working, probably just need the VE table tuned now. Yep, the RX-7 is up and running now. And making a good deal more power than it did on the stock ECU. It did have the fuel pump quit on Sunday evening, but that's now replaced.
