I blew thought 45 last night....I stopped off at American Dream Cycles to pop in and see a friend of mine......The bastard is the GM over there.....Now he wants to sell me a bike, even though I don't even have all of my cars at the house ( cause they all won't fit), he tells me to park the bike in my dinning room on my new wood floors......not going to happen with the wife around......I am making gaskets for the plates tomorrow and boltin this bad boy back together.........

Got the carb back last night...It looks better than the Demon that I had....I will try to work on the car tomorrow and Mon. Hope to fire her up this weekend. I put in and gapped new plugs yesterday.

I have decided to go to DaVinci Carbs and have him work on the carb. Now if I can just get a phone call back I will skip out of work and go up there

Well the Rat droppings are staying for extra WHP.....lol The car was in full working order the last time it was out. I would not there for I would not think of a reason to do a leak down test. I have reconsidered about the carb. I am haveing the original rebuilt and it will be as good as new. I am sending the Demon back tomorrow.

Not sure that is F'n hi-larious. I have in my stable a 2001 IS 300 custom painted DWP with blue pearl, Bilstein shocks, Tien H-tech springs, HKS carbon -Ti exhaust, HP header, Greddy Emanage Ultimate, Joe Z intake , Blitz filter, and a full custom audio system. Shuk wheels with Kuhmo MX's on the corners. I LOVE the straight six. As far as the Z I am not sure about the color. I might change it( I want to). But for accuracy I might keep it original....Not sure what a color change would do to the value since this car has is #'s matching ( 806 to be exact.)

What color orange? I wanted to paint my 73 240 Tangelo Orange but I lost that war. Looks good. Where did you purchase the Air Dam from?

How much would it cost to fab up a L24 manifold? Tubular VS. Log style?

I dropped him a pm. I will wait and see what he says. I talked to my mechanic again and he was going to check out the carb to see if there are any other changes to it in the secondary that were not noticed previously. I still have the Holley so nothing is lost at all. The Demon will be here on Tues. So we will take a close look at both of them and see what can be done. Keep the faith....lol I WILL GET THIS RIGHT!!!

I have always thought that flares should try to be minimal. Bu ton the other hand I love a fat lip on the front and rear jsut as much as the next guy. I think that they should follow the factory lines as much as possible

I know about the vacum line attachment for the turbo. That is handled....but are there any other mods to the carb is stlf. I have made sure that the secondary is vacum activated on the new carb........

Not much else to do in Waxahachie.....I will blow through there on my way to dallas every once in a while......good job on the MS. Hide those noodles on the engine before it sees it is time to eat.....

Eventually I will change things up, depending on what this thing does cranked up to the dyno.....

Well I thought I was going to be able to start the car up this weekend....No Go. the carb was so tarnished, and badly damaged from sitting there for so long with race gas that the cost to rebuild it versus buying a new one was not reasonable................................. So I just purchased a NEW Speed Demon 650cfm carb and it will be arriving on Tues. so the saga continues..

To all those that have requested copies of the literature, I will have it out to you at the middle of next week. I PROMISE!!!! I have been held up by a few things over the holidays but with the end approaching I will be back on track.

Well I made good progress today after work. I was able to drain the gas out of the tank. If anyone wants to know what TEN year old C-16 looks and smells like they can drive by the house....IT STINKS!!!!! I drained all of the cooling fluids as well. I am waiting for the carb to be ready. I have been waiting on parts for the Holley. I am haveing it rebuilt by a friend of mine that owns a shop here in town. I think that by next week I should almost be ready to fire her up. I am going to hold off for a little bit to get some of the parts freshend up intill I get it running. I am waiting patiently............more updates to come....
