Looks like you have a BAD Z Car Build Up,Your car is looking Good. I will get you some Pics of the Big Tire Z Car in a couple of days when I set it down on the ground. I have fired up the motor and put some heat in it now I need to let it cool down and re torque the heads. Jon

Thanks, It was very stressfull puting up our 260 Z " Little Tire Car " to go run on PINKS, But we went with our car and team well prepared and tested and came out with 3 back to back wins and WON!! We hope to have both of our 260 Z's at SEZ #8 I just finished the motor in the 'Big Tire " Z car and will fire up the motor on monday. The only thing on the " Big Tire Z Car " removable off the body is the front end and hood.( the rest is all factory metal and glass ) I will try to get some chassis pics of both Z cars up Monday. I talked to Rich at the PRI show in Orlando in December. Our episode (even though the first episode filmed for season 4) will probably not air first....since we were three and out. They like for it to go five rounds. I am supposed to be informed about a week before....so I'll post on here when I find out.

What are you running for shocks/ struts and springs on the rear of your IRS 280 Z ?? Stony, We have a narrowed 9'' Ford with a 4.11 gear and 33x18.5x15'' Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. tires on the Big Tire Z Car

Here are some picks of the 260 Z ( Big Tire Car )http://www.pbase.com/johnforeiii/image/70758731 and http:www.pbase.com/johnforeiii/image/70670326 at the HorsePower TV Outlaw Nationals ORSCA / YEAR ONE SHOOT OUT at Carolina Dragway ( AKA " THE HOUSE of HOOK " ) and boy was it!! The Year One Open Class ran 1/8 mile and we were having tire shake problems ( because the track was hooking so good ) all day saturday. We qualifyed # 1 with a 5.09 @ 139.32 Mph in the 1/8 and went to the finals. But then we broke the 350 turbo transmission on the launch. Anyway we had a good season by running our best 1/4 mile ET to date.. a 7.86 @ 176.00 mph and our best 1/8 mile ET to date... a 5.06 @ 140.00 mph. Now we go into Maintenance season and hope to get everything fixed and up and running for the SE Z Shoot Out in March. 1 Quick Z Jon Phillips

Thanks, but the Cars have not Been on Racing Junk for Sale, We have had the " Little Tire " 260 Z Since 1984 and the " Big Tire " 260 Z Since 1989. And have been working hard on them ever since trying to make them go Quicker and Faster. Jon
