  1. Those HRE's are insane. I don't think I've ever seen a lip that big on them before. Seriosuly sexy. Now that i think about it, I'm not sure I've ever seen HRE's on a older z chassis before. Amazing work man. Josh
  2. Hey Chelle, I just wanted to say that the work you did to that Z is just amazing. I did however have a question about the firewall. Now i know that you pushed it back a good deal. But, would it be possible to push it back to a point where air conditioning and heating won't be eliminated? I want to move it back so that the engine sits behine the front struts as much as possible and I don't know if I'd be able to accomplish this without moving the firewall. Thanks, Josh
  3. Oh ok. Thanks for clarifying that for me. I thought for some reason they were talking about covering up all of the holes in the front bumper. I understand what you're talking about now though. Josh
  4. I realize of course that the main purpose for this wonderful experiment if to determine the aerodynamic factors of aftermarket as well as stock pieces. However, since most airdams have openings in the front and most people will keep them that way, wouldn't it make sense to test the bumpers in a way that would benefit the people who are using these parts? As in just as they are? And from there you can test how airflow inside of the engine compartment affects velocity and your coefficient of drag? Of course I could be confused by your meaning of sealing the front air dam. Hopefully you can clarify this for me. Josh
  5. The only benefit to me in the tile system is that where I keep my vehicles and where I work on them are two different locations. So I would place the tiles where I keep the cars, not where I wrentch on them. Josh
  6. I've been looking at Garage Tek's tile flooring system. Seems much more efficient to me. I happen to also like the checkered look for the floors. Josh
  7. First of all I'm aware that this thread is incredibly old, but I don't wish to recieve flak about not searching. Now that that's out of the way I also want to say how incredible this V12 Z is. I think the engineering that was oured into this this is mind boggling. Now that that's out of the way I have a few questions I'd like to ask. First of all, if I didn't want to eliminate the heat and/or air conditioning would it still be possible to push back the firewall? Also how does the wiring job fare in terms of difficulty? I plan on running a Stack instrument cluster anyways so gauges aren't a worry. But is there anything else that requires wiring to the car? Thanks for all of your hard work, Josh
