WHere can i find a replacement booster...or a different set-up. ive looked on here about it, and found a couple options. just kinda confussed about which one will work. im not lookin to do any modification, or welding, but i would like a better set-up and feel than what i currently have(Stock). ive noticed a wilwood set-up used by a few people, actually pictured their attempts and sucesses. wondering if i can just ditch the whole booster set-up; i race go-karts, obviously a bunch different. But i'd like to have the same braking feel, super positive feeling. In a go-kart the brakes are rear only with dual cylinders, and one caliper, the brakes are fully applied with the motion of about half an inch. Now it's obvious that i cant have a half an inch of motion before full aplication of the brakes, although somethin coparative would be totally awesome. Now aside from the go-karts i have driven, and ford focus svt, and an mitsubishi lancer evolution viii, those brakes have felt nothin but impressive, not quite a go-kart, but somethin closer to those feelings would be awesome; mayeb im jsut lookin for somethin more modern. Now mods are an option but i definately wanna keep it as david(me) friendly as possible, im not stupid, but im no mechanical genius either. gimme as many options and links as you possibly can, and i'll try to figure somethin out...of course more questions will follow

is it okay to drive the car liek this? or is it causing a lean condition?

Alrighty...so driving to el monte, ca one day; come to a signal and i hit the brakes...idle rises. i let off, idle drops. what woudl cause this? all possible ideas would be great. fluid is still full. also...there sounds like a hissing sound comes from the pedal area...probably connected issues right? at this same moment the brakes felt real hard to use...so i went home and parked it...any ideas?

id say the turbo mufflers have too much of a ricey sound to it, sounds liek a rattle can is hooked up to the exhaust...i wouldnt mind a quieter version of 280ZForce's exhaust...probably the same setup jsut smaller piping

of course i have froza, cant wait for forza 2 to come out...watchin the forza motorsport shwodown on speed channel as well...but other than that i love gran turismo too...most arguments on which is beter is jsut who owns which system...i own a xbox and love both

alright guys, when i use my left blinker, it doesnt turn off, although when i got it together about a month ago, it worked perfectly. now, works great, but doesnt turn itself off...how can i fix it, i haven't heard anything breaking or anything, so i dont know...you know?

1972 240z, somethin around 800 bucks for it off of ebay, sat for like twelve years in some guys backyard. his fathers car, gave to him, never ran, gave to his son, never ran; i bought it, it runs!!! actually ran when i got it home, alittle oil and starter fluid. Now i got it runnin and after about a month of driving it from time to time, im about ready to strip it down, and paint the thing; completely stock

i'll deffinately see what i can do...although i jsut got a brand new airdam, jsut like it...sitting in the attic in the box...already to go...trade;)

Alright, when i was searchin for a car to buy, since my dad wouldnt sell me his 240Z...and had a dually truck a suburban, and the Z i wanted it for my second car, since the first i was sold blew up within a month due to a huge oil leak. i found the Z i alway wanted...on ebay...gotta love it. And since id been drooling over zs, adn was abotu to purchase one, i figured... ZDreamin72 would be a good one, used it for everything jsut about...72 comes from the yea in wihch i wanted, and eventuall purchased.

really, carbon fiber huh...custom? or is someone producin these? whered you get yours?

hahaha, yeah that was one of the reasons, not to be lazy or anything i jsut ahve alot of other projects on my plate as well...but i replaced the alternator and the regulator all in one swing...and it still doesnt read 14.4v at idle, reads 13.5v at idle, but with hardly any throttle it does jump straight up to 14.4v. mine is a 1972 240z, so i can help you with the 83, but you can check what voltage rating is on the back of your busted alt, and then buy a matching voltage range, im sure from year to year isnt that different in alts, just voltage, and sometimes more is better...right?

Does anyone, prefferably who lives in cali, knwo if the fender mirrors are legal, i like the look of them, something different than every other car on the market these days. also does anyone know where a diagram or instructions on where to place them on the vehicles actually is? where to find one? online; of course prefferably free. thanx

northern cali is a bit far for me...especially if i was to drive up for an estimate you know...i am really lookin for a clear job also. yea i figure 9k was a bit too much...oh oh oh...i like texas and florida...everything seems to be much much cheaper there

thank you, i think im goiung to have it done at some shop, i woudl trust my prep work, of course id have to be there from time to time, i cant handle not having a hand in some part of my restoration, each part i mean

you should see what a go-kart tire does...more lateral gs are applied to a go-kart tire, its pretty amazing, or look at a launch on a drag car. Go-Kart Pics here: www.mlpimaging.com
