  1. Thank you guys, im an idiot I had the imput and the output backwards. I have been trying to get it to work for a couple of days. It fired right up when I switched it and it sounded good.
  2. Hey guys, I cant seem to get my engine to fire up and im not sure why. I know that im getting spark on my plugs. Also there is +12 voltage to the injectors and I have fuel pressure but it still wont work. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be wrong? It will also fire up if I spray fuel in the air intake but then die when that fuel is burnt. There is also no fuel coming out of the fuel return, im not sure if that is important or not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Umm, you can buy a module that is supposed to simulate that pulse off of ebay. Here is a ling http://stores.ebay.com/Baker-Electronix. Just get one for an LT1
  4. Hey what shifter cable setup are you using? I was wondering becuase im doing the same swap.
  5. So far my plans are to keep the stock fuel tank but I havent looked in it yet so see if its rusted or not so the plan could change. Right now I just want to get the car up and running asap. As for the car it is a 280z but for some reason it had a 5-9 psi electric pump on it. That might have been why it wasnt running. Yeah I would be interested in your left over pump just pm what your looking for it.
  6. would not having enough fuel pressure make it so the engine wont turn over at all. Becuase I just guessed on the wiring and now I get spark off the spark plugs and all but wont turn over with my weak pump. Theres also votage to the injectors. Also could anyone suggest a good pump for an lt1?
  7. Yeah the caprice has the vats system but it should still start without it being disabled it will just run for a sec then turn off. For the fuel pump im just using what the person had on the car before it only does 5-9psi so that could be a problem.
  8. Okay, I have the full wiring harness from a 94 caprice and I hooked up the +12v to the post on the fuse box and tried to fire it up but there was no spark. So im assuming that there is some relay that i havent triggered for the pcm probaly dealing with the wires that are supposed to hook up to the ignition I only know what one of wires that goes into the firewall does and thats the yellow one for the alternator. If any one knew anymore that would be a great help.
