  1. Unplugg each connector and see what happens. Might try pinching the return line to increase pressure too instead of the adjustable FPR. Lots of possibilities there.

  3. I had that same problem too on my 9/'76 until I re-routed the hoses like a '78 has them.
  4. I've read where a guy uses a 2000 Altima spare in his 280's hatch so I'm guessing they have the same bolt pattern.
  5. Not trying to be a smart but wouldn't the "FULL" mark on the dipstick still be where the pan meets the block, no matter what size the pan?
  6. Does your motor have a dipstick? Pour it in slowly so you won't over fill.
  7. Mine had an O-ring that was between the plunger and the housing so that looks about right.
  8. There's a small cone shaped fuel filter inside the fuel inlet on OE fuel pumps. Mine was completely clogged and I was having the same kind of problems your having. May be something to look at? Also you could put a Fram G3 clear fuel filter in the fuel line coming out of the tank before it gets to the fuel pump. They're $5 bucks and you can see the crud if it's there. Helped my '77.
  9. I bought an AFPR for my '77 stock coupe. It doesn't hold the pressure and is a pain to restart when hot. Which ones hold the psi's? Aeromotive? or should I stay with stock FPR? Maybe put a check valve in the fuel line? But then it would go back through the return wouldn't it? Runs alot better at 40 to 42 psi instead of 36 from OE.
