Yea, I know. I was just saying that I have a similar set-up to what you're describing. I've heard my car with an open header and its LOUD. Don't get me wrong, I love loud cars but this would definitely be too loud to drive around town or anything. I would assume that the pipe (even w/o the muffler) would quiet it down some but it would still probably be too loud. I don't know for sure though.

I'm doing this is my 240 except I'm using a thrush glasspack. 6-2-1 header, 2.5" tubing, the glasspack, and a chrome slant cut tip.

I'd appreciate it if you could. And to be honest, its mostly just to have better control when I want to get a little sideways lol. I'm building this car to be fun, I know it won't be a powerhouse or anything but it's gonna be what I want.

I kinda like the twice pipes sticking out like that. But it looks like you've shaved the bumper, if so then I agree about them sticking out lol. Maybe if you could section the pipe somewhere out of sight so that the chrome tips begin slightly under the rear valence so you can't see the dark gray part. I'm liking the progress though, its looking good.
