  1. Thanks for the info. I just got them today. Another upgrade project... tamo3.
  2. Congrats for gettign 3.70 CLSD for good price! I tried using two screwdrivers to pull out CV Axis, but it did not work. Then I used flat prybar with angle side. Using the principle of the lever, CV Axis came off without banging hammer much. How easy it was... Wrapped CV axis and put it into storage for now. I got rest of 3.9 R200 as JMortensen recommended. Man, I paid $50 for the fial ring and $90 for the leftover staff. Since I clean up final gear ring, the marker is gone, Pick 'N Pull won't let me get refund... I should've got entire pumpkin at the first place.
  3. By the way , what kind of paint did you use? POR-15?
  4. JMortensen, Thanks for your advice. I did not know that.
  5. Hi Leon, I got R200 3.7 CLSD(37:10). My understanding is both are same pinion used 10 tooth and I thought the final gears are interchangeable.
  6. Hi RebekahsZ, I did not have time to working on diff this week. Since i have only one screw long enough driver and want to get wedge or a cold chisel that you suggested. That's sound easier. I worked Xenon Airdam installation at lunch break. Oh, and I got 3.9 final gear too. Will try work on diff over the weekend. Thanks, tamo3
  7. Thanks rossman, I will check that out. tamo3
  8. Thanks borini63! I just received this item. tamo3
  9. Hi, I started polishing my valve cover. Before: After: It takes so much time to scribbling! While I was polishing valve cover, the adhesive came off. Does anyone have recommendation what kind of adhesive I should use for this? Thanks, tamo3
  10. Interesting. Is the width of Siro pumpkin and other Z31 Turbo different?
  11. Hi borini63, Yes, this is the one I'm looking for. PM you for the payment method. Thanks, tamo3
  12. Hi, I'm looking for the companion flange from 280z R200. It should be round shape flange with M8 bolt size. I'm looking for as same as on this picture. Does anyone has spare? Thanks, tamo3
  13. Thanks Leon for your tips. I will try your method too. Thanks, tamo3
  14. Thanks Rossman, I was using flat prybar in between the pumpkin and the CV flange and banging hammer. I was afraid of damaging CV flange. I will try harder. By the way, your project is awesome! Thanks, tamo3
  15. I believe Xenon only makes Airdam with break air duct. http://teamxenon.com/pdf/Xenon_Applications-2012.pdf Check out page 47.
  16. Hi, I'm having hard time to figure out how to remove CV from R200 diff. When I remove Diff from z31, right side of CV popped out easily. However, left side of diff is hard. I don't want to damage CV, so I've been careful about not to messing up. Since CV is connected, I can't use puller. Does anyone know easy way to remove CV from Diff? Thanks, tamo3
  17. I think it's FS5W71B.
  18. RebekahsZ, FYI: I saw '88 z31 vLSD selling on craigslist @ Fresno, CA. If you are interested in. http://fresno.craigslist.org/pts/2980209994.html dexter72, Congratulations to you again! My search for R200 CLSD is done also. Maybe 3.9 gear in some day.
  19. Oops. Sorry about that. I did not pay enough attention to the description...
  20. Sorry for the wrong weight information. T5 itself weight 75lbs not more than 71B. http://www.datsunzgarage.com/borg/ Reference for how to identify 71B and 280z/zx 71C http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=12276
  21. RebekahsZ, I saw someone selling R200 LSD on eBay. Check it out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/300ZX-Z31-R200-LONG-NOSE-DIFF-GEARS-3-7-RATIO-LSD-VG30ET-UPG-S30-240Z-260Z-280Z-/270961619556?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3f16923264&vxp=mtr RB26powered74zcar, Thanks for the info. I will check the thread.
  22. RebekahsZ, Sorry, I was looking for R200 LSD Diff for long time. I'm planning to rebuild this R200 and put it into my 240z. dexter72, You are so lucky man! This Diff+axles cost me $100 at Pick 'N Pull last week. I understand I need to swap from z31 r200 pinion flange to 280z. That I need to find it too. I saw some photo using finned R200 onto 240z/280z. lots people mentioned that the finned rear end cannot directly put it into 240/280z. I do have R200 mustache Bar taking out from '77 280z. Does anyone know whether I can just bolt in or do I have to find none-finned R200 to swap the rear end cover? Thanks, tamo3
  23. Thank you for your feedback. Finally I got time to open the pumpkin. It turns out LSD 3.7! I guess the engine was swapped on the 300zx.
