Ok, Bought some propper sticky pads today and installed the light covers, I still dont know wether or not to leave them on, Im hoping they will grow on me. They didn't dim the light as much as I thought they would either.

Wel got my headlight covers today......Dont reallt like them to be honest, I think they look very cheap.....As the the sticky pads to put the brackets on, they are not so sticky, A nd im definetly not drilling my light cowel for a light cover.

What lights are you referring to?

Hi Guys, Yes I wanted the 8k bulbs as I liked the blue look off them, Dont know how they will work with the covers on tho, I'll have the covers this week sometime so Ill post some pics when they arrive.

Could be awhile before im out in the dark in the z again, maybe next weekend, The light fits into the standard light housing, so it doesn't stick out any further into the wheel well than normal. I just had to drill a bigger hole in the housing to get the connections through. There is an ebay link on page 1 with more pics of the light. Cheers

Yeah they do come out a bit far but the light covers should smooth things over . I think I paid a fair price, the only modification I had to make was to drill a bigger hole in the light housing so I could fit the connections through, apart from that they fit right in.

Just been out for a quick drive in the dark, the light is amazing, I live out in the country and the high beam really lights up the road, Im really pleased with them. they come with 5500k hids as standard but I got the 8000k. overall Im pleased.

Yeah im pleased with them, I wasn't sure how they would look but turned out better than I thought, will look better with tinted light covers I think.

Well finally got the lights installed today........they look ok although I think ill got some headlight covers. I havent had a chance to focus them properly yet, took a few pics in the garage, it will give you some idea of what they look like.

Ok thanks guys, I think I'll run them without covers for the moment and see how I get on. Hoping to install them on saturday so I'll get pics up then. Cheers

Yeah its like a angle eye thing, I'm leaving it disconnected tho as I dont like the look of it, think it looks cheap. So do I need a covering over my projector or is it ok?

Well got my lights yesterday, I wired them up roughly to make sure they are both working and to see what the quality is like, I dont know pretty much anything about projectors and HIDS but they work!! They are in the bodyshop now getting the chrome painted black. One question.....the projector fits into the housing but there is nothing actually over the projector.......will I need some kind of cover over it?, the place where I bought them said I dont need anything covering the projector. Cheers

So for right hand drive cars the step is just on the opposite side? I'll be getting my projector lights next week and will need to line them up..........

I thought they were reasonable, the Euro against the $ is still pretty good, the seller said they will fit right in, just have to wait and see, The light out of my standard lights is shocking so these should be better, I got the 8000k colour instead of the 5000k
