  3. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has used these projector HIDS? I bought these on a "spur of the moment" thing, not too sure how they will perform...........First thing I'll be doing is painting the chrome part black. Hoping they will be a straight fit. Jay
  4. Hi all, I changed the dash in my 260 last week. I took the wire harness out of my old dash and put it in the new dash, Everything works fine apart from the front lights and the lights for all the guages. When I turn the light switch on my back lights work and so does the light for the cigarette lighter. I just cant get my front lights or the lights on the dash to work! anyone have any idea as to what could be wrong? Cheers Jay

  6. Hi All, Last week i was moving my car out of the garage, I noticed the brake pedal was going to the floor.......checked the brake fluid level and it was very low for the back braks. I then found a leak on the rear cylinder, I bought a new one and replaced it, topped up the brake fluid but the pedal is still going to the floor. Not sure if I bled the brakes properly, I opened the bleed valve on the cylinder, pumped the pedal until the fluid was coming out then tightened the nut, I done this also where you top up the fluid level. When the pedal goes to the floor the front brakes lock up, but the rear ones dont seem to be working at all? Any ideas? master cylinder? Jay

  15. 316l filler wire is for welding stainless, is a higher grade than 304. 309L filler wire is for welding disimilar metals, that what I use anyway.
  16. Yeah were right hand drive, the dash in the car at the moment is cracked, however I also have an as new stock s30 dash which i was going to put in next week. But seen a few pics going around of the 240sx dash swop and I think it looks well, really modernises the interior. I think ill try it, and if I dont like it then I'll just stick in the crack free s30 dash I have. Jay
  17. Ok well got a pm from Alex, He gave me a few pointers so gonna give this a go! Jay
  18. Hey all, Just wondering has anyone put a 240sx dash into a 2+2? I gto my hands on one and thinking about trying it as im going to have the dash out anyway. The dash in the car at the moment is cracked but I have a like new standard 260 dash, so if it didn't work I could just put that in. I emailed valdini motorsport saturday but no reply as of yet. Ive also searched here and found a few threads on them and had a read through. Does anyone know if you have to have the transition piece from the dash to the window?, can you fit it tidy enough not to use that? Also what the story with the heater? How do you get around that or do you leave them out? Cheers, Jay
  19. When I dont mine I welded plates into the holes, also welded a secrion of flat bar along the bottom of the bumper to make it more ridged. any flexing at all and you will have cracks. Jay
