Been to Bahrain many times, had a great time. I rarely saw any S30. There used to be a guy on this board that had a real nice 280 that he sold to buy a BMW. If you keep in a garage the paint and body should last for a longtime. The craftsman you had work on it did a great job. Good luck and enjoy the ride.

I have the billet stuff from Azrizona Z car, I have not installed it yet. You got me thinking about doing something to it prior to install now.

Eiji is a great vender. He sells more items than he lists. I have great experiences working with Eiji on hard to find items. He is highly recommeded as his Datsun Spirit.

I had dealing with him but mostly as a buyer prospector. I dumped some crap on him I had no use for....he seemed very eager to gobble it up. He bought it cheap and turned it around to offer it for double what he paid. I screwed my self by not giving him Red Dat shipping prices. I charge the price of postage and mailing supplies. I try to reuse envelopes and boxes if I can. I don't charge for my time or the little gas it costs to go to the post office or Fed/Ex.

Got a guy here in San Diego with molds that makes the kit. We had him make our kit in Carbon Fiber. We sold our extra kit already to a guy in Mizzou. If serious and you have the money I can see how much a set in fiberglass will cost you. It is an 8 piece set which includes the 4 overfenders, 3 piece rear spoiler and large front spoiler. The kit is for a G-nose car as well.

I really think that if Tom allows Jay to execute his duties as Jay envisions them; Tom will recover. The new building is a great set-up that I think will lead to efficient processing of orders. Tom is a real great car guy but maybe not the best businessman, he also a very good craftsman, he takes a lot of pride in his products. I believe he will recover his reputation a lot quicker than Tiger. .

The last 9 months have been a real ruff times at Thunderranch. They had to move to a new building after 17 years in the old location. Not making excuses for Tom as I tend to think he gets in over his head sometimes. The good news is that he finally hired a shop supervisor named Jay, a British chap who seems to have things going in the right direction. Jay has cracked the whip and things are getting done. I do not think Tom did his reputation right by not being truthful. He should not have requested final payment until he had everything you ordered. He is not a bad guy, just a guy trying to make ends meet and keep his doors open. Sorry to hear about your experience, I really wish it would have gone better for you.

Very interesting and informative thread. It laid dormat for 15 months than came back with some great contributors. I am now inclined to do more research, thank you warbird for taking the time to inform.

By far my favorite tire...ran them on my Skyline when I lived in Japan, got them on my G35 Sport Coupe and my daughter's Sentra SE/R. I hate that they discontinued them.

What affect does the wrap material have on the paint? That would be nice car to own if taking the wrap off would not cause any problems with the original paint. I cannot image the wrap is good for the paint.

I was thinking Black Racing as well, I had a set on my Skyline when I lived in Japan. I had 2 one piece like the wheels in the picture and 4 like the wheels on the RatDat site. If I remember correctly Black had some kind of permanent mark on them to signify that they were Black Racing Wheels.

I too agree with Alan. I have 2 sets of the works overfenders and they are totally different. They also are designed for the S30. The great part is that you can put 10s on the front and up 14s on the rear.

These cars are going in value the the availability of part decreasing leads to vermin like those 3 to still a starving college student's ride. They used to hang horse thieves, they did for a good reason too.

Sounds like a good deal, VIN # and wife's weight hopefully both are low numbers. Pictures of the car and wife will be required. You got to love Craigslist.
