  1. Just Sunday this year....the show just better every year.
  2. That is what is so great about living where you can smell Tijuana Mexico in the morning...getting upholstery work done is so MUCH cheaper. I could get my seats done for about $60.00 to get both seats done if of course I supply the materials. Border town bennies.
  3. Les at Classic Datsun was involved in the process of getting some of these cars readied for Nissan.
  4. I got a set friend who works for Nissan as well and he sent me a set. Currently they are out to a guy who is going to remake them out of Carbon Fiber for a future project. I did not think much of them when I had them at the house because he also sent the Works style kit too which has even bigger rear flares. This guy is trying to stuff 16x14 Panasports under the rear of this car.
  5. They have that kind of garages all over Japan. I think they are a great idea. I think it would be a great idea for long term parking at airports.
  6. Z club of San Diego meets on the first Tuesday of the month which is next Tuesday.
  7. My first reaction is I think they would like nice on an S30....but the gold is more yellow.
  8. You are correct as usual....I looked at the picture that started the thread I saw it different than the ones you show here. Mine are of course more like "Works" style. I am sorry for any mistrepresentation. Mine will not look like Alan's pictures....but Alans does have great pictures of my style as well.
  9. Not yet, it will be a manufacture direct sale, I don't want to be the next 1FastZ. Once the CF replicas are complete I will give out the name of the manufacture. Right now he is not thinking it will a lucrative venture to produce more parts for sale. I will post pictures of the car when the parts are complete and installed. For the purpose of helping to promote the parts we are having them installed by the manufacture. I was at the shop that is making the parts on Monday, he said 2 more weeks.
  10. I have two sets here in my garage....no joke. One set will be going up for sale in a few months. Right now it is out being copied in Carbon Fiber. Look for the mock ups to be on sale.
  11. From my point of view, I believe the only reason he is on this board is to bash and warn. After this thread dies out we will not hear from him again, afterall he does not own a Z.
  12. Dropped a new fuse box in my 73 a week back or so, it is straight forward, simple. I did a short tail. I do have a brand new long tail in the box that I can sell.
  13. Was at MSA the other day, a guy was asking for one and they said that they did not get them in yet.?.?
  14. Still being built, but I will post them as soon as the job is complete. There are many interested.
  15. I have some coming out soon from a very reputable company. Right now he is making the molds, the prototypes will be out soon. This company is even going to make Works style overfender kit. He is going make 240Z taillight finishers in both one piece and the two piece, and the rare JDM style front chin airdam. All and all it should be a very nice line up of parts. Not sure if he is going to sell them direct or through a distribution center like MSA. I however will not be point of contact, I simply supplied the parts to be copied. I will keep you all informed. I want to talk to the owner of the company about CF dashes and center consoles as well. I just need to insure him that there is a market out there for the parts in order for him to want to mass produce them. He will make one offs but it will cost one off type money too.
  16. . I have the questions you asked out to the maker.
  17. I am looking for 240Z owners in the Stockton CA area looking to reduce noise and heat in your interior. I have a contact in Stockton who makes prefab kits for all types of cars. He wants to do a 240-260Z kit and needs prototype cars to put the kit in for 50% off the regular intsalled price. This is a great bargin. Please PM me with pictures of the car you want the work done to and I will get you in touch with the company. This a great opportunity....for once I wish I lived in Stockton.
  18. My 73's rear bumper is right up on the body, so I think the brackets are the same. The front of course was a different story. I had to drill new holes in the bracket to get the bumper tight to the body.
  19. I am currently working with Tom McBurnie on a Z project; Tom is a great guy to do business with, I would HIGHLY recommend him for your GTO projects. He knows what he is doing when it comes to the GTO kit. Go to his website and drop him an email he or his wife will answer you quickly.
  20. I am having one like this reproduced in carbon Fiber. It goes great with "Works" style overfenders but works okay like here in the picture. I vote for this one.
  21. That is ugly....wow, I did not need to this.....
  22. A 16x12jj would need what size tire? I googled all afternoon looking for a good 45 or 50 to fit the 12jj. We plan to run 10jj on the front and 12jj on the rear. If we can't find a good tire set we will get the 12jj made into a 9jj and use the 10jj on the rear.
