yeah i was just curious if it has been done before. I have recently seen a lot of s13/s15's done and a rx7/rx8. Just thought it might look different.

I was just curious if anyone has seen a s30 with the front end of let's say a skyline, silvia or even a rx8? I think this would be pretty cool.

Very interested at how well this goes. For this swap is one that i am thinking about doing in my Z. Do you plan on modifying the engine in any way?

I have been searching for a while now and found many links to the SR20DET FSM but they are all deleted are non existent. Does any one have a link to the FSM. Thanks alot

I hate to search this way by asking but I have been looking for info and pics on s30's with the front end being a built tube frame setup. I just can't seem to find any info. I know a while back I came across this photo, but I can't seem to find it any more. I just need some ideas on design and materials. Thanks alot guys.

i am already planing on new engine,transmission, front and rear suspesion, lots of cutting and welding. This will be a totally custom z.

well i already have the Z and have put quite a few hours into ripping it apart. Now i am just in the design stage of how i want it to look. Everytime i see a different body kit it gets me thinking. I want it to have a more exotic look but still look like a Z.

280zone, What do you mean start with a wider car?

I am wanting to make my 240z a wide body. I dont like to many of the kits so i was thinking about cutting the car in half. From front to rear down the middle and widen it about 3" then widen the fenders about 1". So what does everyone think will this work with the proper reinforcement.

I am currently rebuilding my 73 z from the ground up and my brother in-law has seen the car and now he is interested in a z. It would be his first car, he's only 17. It needs to be in driveable condition and not to beat up but cheap.

i am a little confused on this subject thanks to a friend of mine. These iridium spark plugs claim to give better horse power and fuel consumption. My question is if you put these plugs into a brand new vehicle all factory would you see any increases across the board? Or would the ecu make changes to get the engine running back to factory standards? What about air filters will they work the same way? these questions are because i am currently driving a 2008 honda fit ( don't laugh) while my 73 240z is being completely rebuilt. I have to drive 65 miles everday to work and back home so i am trying to save as much money as i can to put in the z so does any body have any sugestions? Thanks for all the help.

I have a 73 240z and i am wanting to turn it into a race/show car. I am stuck on three different engines that i know all have their own advantages but i just cant bring my self to choosing just one. Maybe you guys can push me in the right direction, the choices are RB26det-VQ35dett-or SR20det. What i am looking for is weight distribution,handling,performance. I would like to drift and circuit race with this car and it must turn heads every where it goes. Lets just say money is not an object, what do you guys think? "THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP"
