  1. Could have easily done it yourself...
  2. Shouldn't be too hard to fab them
  3. I've got a complete 240Z swap waiting to go on my '78 Z. Only thing I've read is you have to make a few cuts to make the valance fit but it shouldn't be a big deal anyway.
  4. The principle are the same, my Wrangler was halfway eaten up with rust but I saved it. I even ended up welding in diamond plate in the back floor section lol. I'll be welding in fender patches and the section underneath the hatch and using Ospho to take care of other areas in my Z.
  5. Thanks man, my dad and I built it from the ground up. I got a lot of practice for all the rust repair and body work the Z needs lol I would paint the Z a darker shade or maybe a Gunmetal color but the jams and engine bay are in decent shape. It's the single stage paint job that's flaking off the exterior that I want to take care of...
  6. I tried Google search and found nothing but chrome bumpers lol. Maybe a satin black would work...
  7. Lol I'm sticking with stock 14's so I guess I'll be fine. Plus I'd rather get a new steering wheel for $70 than spend $45 or so on a cover.
  8. I bought the black dragon kit a week ago and it looks like it's good quality. We'll see when I actually install it but for $227 shipped somethin is bound to fit right and justify the cost.
  9. http://www.ebay.com/itm/370642974058?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/330776190339?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I'm looking at these two wheels and both are 13.5". I've read that the stock wheel is 15". Would it make that big of a difference as far as ease of turning or am I worrying for nothing?
  10. I'm going to be painting my 280Z the original silver color but I'm trying to decide what to do with the bumpers. I have a 240Z Rear and a 260Z Front with a 240Z valence and BRE chin spoiler. I was thinking I'd paint the bumpers gloss black while leaving the valance and spoiler silver. I keep thinking painting everything body color will blend everything in too much. I'm also going to paint the center section of the hood gloss black like my Wrangler... Just looking for some input and other suggestions I hadn't thought of...
  11. I plan on running Valvoline High Mileage conventional 10W-40 in my 113K L28E. The consensus seems to be between 10W-30 and 10W-40. My dad switched to 10W-40 at 100k with our '98 Chevy truck and it's still running perfectly at 250K *knock on wood* lol
