+1, nothing beats the plain jane power fc l-jetro. The lack of knock control worries me but if you know what your doing, it can easily be adjusted through the commander. The commander pretty much has 10 guages in it, making it an invaluable source of info for dirt cheap $. I prefer the power fc pro with the 2 step, and ignition cut rather than the fuel cut in the regular.
Aem also gets my vote for the functionality of things and the user friendly tuning its capable of. Aem comes with the program to tune and with purchasing a couple of solenoids, may easily control boost, cutouts, sequential turbo(s), meth, etc... Only down side is the price, but used ones can be sourced.
